why so much??i have a strong feeling like he is protecting an overpair, possibly limped with AA with the A of spades? Seen the guy do this with 88 on a J93 board into my AJ. seems really fishy. What would you do?
  2. i would kinda squint at the screen and tilt my head a little bit to indicate confusion, then i would fold.
  3. I just lost my ass the other night flopping bottom two from the BB on a super dry board and the action was similar. I checked, MP bet, LP raised. It all went in on the flop and LP had bottom set.

Here the board is coordinated and you've got Magulina to consider. I think you've gotta let this go.

Mag was the preflop aggressor, so Spy knows he has a hand. He also has to wonder if you're slowplaying something. Yet he's still putting his entire stack in the middle.
  4. i seriously thought about folding this hand. Every time i did though i kept thinking about the 88 hand he way overplayed, and thought it more likely he had AA or some kind of AK with the A of spades. things i excluded were the nut flush and straight.

so by these ranges i concluded that there was a good chance i could be ahead. im beating all one pair hands and if he happens to have a flush and im wrong i have some outs still.

  5. whatd he have
  6. I call and pray the other guy doesn't SNAP both of us off.
  7. lol I pulled the hand history. NH... now what did Spy have?
  8. fold pre, and fold the flop
  9. I think I'm calling as played unless he's the type to overshove flopping spades. Maybe he has 33, but I even doubt that.

My read is not overpair though, wouldn't he 3-bet pre? You also have to consider Mag, but if you call, he's not making the call without two spades.
  10. lol nice catching sir..... just exactly how lucky did you get??

definete insta call if you know you will make quads
  11. im calling here and high fiving the monitor when he turns up AA. then im throwing the monitor out the window when the turn and river come QQ.
