Preflop play: I think a raise here is good i see no problem with my play pre flop.
Flop play: This is where i think i could improve my play the most. I like my play but i think there is room for other plays here... A fold may be wise here. Multi way pots are always dangerous and likely to have players who wont fold to a bluff. However, a fold sends a message to the table "call my preflop raises and ill play weak on the flop". Call is weak. I call and he will bet on the turn and i will be in the same spot i was on the flop (with no info). Even if he bets min, calling is weak. My raise: puts pressure on my opponent and tells me if he is committed to the hand (he was committed yet i raise all in on the turn? me dum)
Turn Play: Betting all-in on the turn is the most obvious mistake i see. I could have checked it down and minimized losses.

    Thoughts?
  2. fold flop, psycho.

  7. I'm not completely against the steal attempt on the flop other than it was probably a bit too much
  8. Raise less on flop, shut down on Turn imo...

You can get the info you wanted without raising so much. When villain calls, you have to know you're beat as there are no draws.

  9. Leave the spew shove on the turn out of your game. It's a $1 tourney and the villain has shown that he has something. Absolutely no reason the bluff shove all in at this level when you will get called down by bottom pair. You're actually over thinking the situation. Even if you do give up after the flop no one is paying attention to how you're playing at this level.

  10. this must be on more levels than inception

This....and I can assure you less than 1% of people in this tourney will EVER fold an overpair. even 88 on a 6 high flop. They will not fold. Just do the same thing when you have them crushed. Not with A high.
  12. Repped kitchens well imo. Bad call from him

  14. Being creative is fun and works in the right spot against strong players. Hovever this is a $1 MTT, just assume that the most players are weak until you're proven otherwise. You outmaneuver strong players and showdown the best hand against weak players, this is how you make money in poker. The only bluff you should ever make at this level is a continuation bet into 1 or 2 opponents, you can crush the micros doing this, just wait for the hands and bet them for value. It's good that you're thinking on higher levels but you just can't apply level 4 thinking when you're opponents are on level 1, be patient wait for big hands and force yourself to play in a boring mechanical way until you're at least upto $24 buy ins or you observe someone who is actually a thinking player.
  15. this is a $1 donkamanet how do u think any1 is every gonna fold the flop to a raise??
