- villain was a mini-ftops winner and had been rather tight until 2 orbits ago...
- we were 6 handed, he picked up some chips with a 3bet shove in the bb vs. 6x raise from sb... sb called and villain sucked out AQo > AKs
- 2 hands later, raises & no callers and shows 1010...
- 7 hands later, loses some chips after calling 2 all-ins in front of him (5 bb shove, 10 bb call) with 1010... up against another 1010 and AQ, and AQ gets there...
- next hand is blind vs. blind, shoves in sb with J7o and wins vs. Q10s call with 5bb...
- few hands later i get this...

i'm about 6th in chips with 16 left... i have about 22 bbs... WWYD?
1. just call and take a flop? how do you proceed if A,K,Q hits?
2. re-raise? and to what, like 8800? call or fold shove then?
3. shove? do i have fold equity?
i look forward to some responses with insight on what good course of action would be here... thanks guys!! -
jammin here everytime
-
i understand it's easy to just respond shove, but WHY shove?
nobody calls and plays in position? -
i'm just trying to see if anybody can provide some type of solid reasoning to something other than a standard shove... or is it just that cut and dry here???
-
hmmm ya i guess not, point taken...

i guess i just find these spots frustrating, although standard.... i'm sure i'm not alone on here, with hands like mid-pp and not much of a stack to do anything with...
of course i shoved, villian tank called with AKs and hit K on the flop.... -
If you want to win a tournament, you have to win races. If you call 20% of your stack with a vulnerable hand and fold any time there is an a,k, or q on the board you are never going to win.

lol he did no tanking. Maybe he was on other tables, this is the most standard shove and call ever.

You're play was good up until you lost the flip, time rng better next time for better results tho.
-
If your that uncomfortable with the jacks, and you feel he is on a heater, then just fold emand wait for a better spot, you got 22bb left and are sitting 6th.
