Hi ppl,
Can i get everyones thoughts on what to do here... not asking for instructions just ur thoughts as i honestly beleive i made the right decision.
We are 3 handed in a £25 6max FT on the microgaming network and the play as has been fairly standard but more solid than usual for a 6max w/ stacks so deep.
Seat 5 has been probly the tightest of the table, making zero moves that i saw.
Oh and btw the guys friend (observer) was goin ape in the chat box saying "sick bluff" etc.

should be either 3 betting of folding this preflop...and no point in proceeding after the flop
using icm clear fold pre..especially you saying that hes been playing tight?? -
folding pre! are u serious? we are 3 handed at the final 71bbs effective.

i would raise here 70% of the time but i elected to flat because i thought it suited the situation better.
on the flop i flat b/c i can take the pot away on a lot of turns and A high is sometimes ahead. -
ignore this, icm doesnt come into play in this hand. i think you gotta call the river there, i cant imagine my plan ever being bet/fold this river in a $26 esp with stack sizes.

although 'the friend' puts me off a little. if they are chatting elsewhere and he knows his hand hes prob doing this to try and get you to call, but even then he could have lower flushes or maybe even just 3 of a kind. -
Gotta call with that line IMO. I mean what if he was out of position and he shoved that river? You call right? I dunno, I suk anyway.
Why are tournament chips called US dollars anyway? Says real money in the HH and your stack has a dollar sign and is proclaimed US dollars so I suggest you cash it out. :P -
I know the board is paired but as played you cant fold. Why are you betting the river if you are going to think about folding the nut flush to a re-raise? If your flatting the flop with A high and get runner runner nut flush and fold its horrible.
-
which is why i would just like a couple of comments from the guys in the top 100 of the plb... no offense
-
That play reeks of a boat or four of a kind, well played by the villain. If I'd call or not would depend on who I was up against - the read on him. I could both call and fold this hand for sure.

None taken...... Agreed is a sick/weird spot. Just don't think you can find a fold the way you played it. Your calling on the flop to find an A or a scare card. You end up getting runner runner flush and wanna bet fold the river? Would love to see what I top 100 player thinks about this. Im assuming you did bet/fold the river??

well as the hand went on i think it became more obv what he had, regardles of my hand.

I may aswel say it as ive given enough clues... i decided to fold after 2 mins of tanking and heres why....
going into the hand, the villain was tighter than average for a 6max game, but had started opening up pf somewhat 3 handed.
preflop i think calling > raising since i will have position and to play pot control.
on the flop i float b/c like i said i can pick up the pot a lot of the time on the turn if he decides to check/bet weak, there are also a lot of turn cards that are good for my hand.
on the turn when he calls the raise i put him on either a monster, or a hand with fairly decent showdown value...
there aren't many spots where u can justify bet folding but here i think is definately 1, b/c he is never bluffing or c/r trips or a straight.
what made the decision easier tho is when i was nearing theend of my 2min timebank his caht and his railtard friends chat made it so obv.
anyway turns out i was right because when i told him his friend helped my decision, his friend never said another word and he gave me loads of shit calling me a scrub for folding and i needed the money that bad lol (obv hes right)
anyway just wanted some thoughts on whether my play/logic was sound here
