  1. Obv someone doing this because of the ftops win pretty sad but kudos to ftp security.

    Hello Casey,

You may have noticed an unsuccessful log in attempt pop up recently when you last logged into your account. The details of these login attempts, including the IP addresses where they originated, can be viewed by logging in to the Full Tilt Poker software and selecting "Check my Login History (Internet)" from the "Security" menu.

This alert was triggered on your account because another person tried to log in to your account. We have confirmed these unauthorized log in attempts were unsuccessful.

Appropriate action has been taken on the individual we believe is responsible for these attempts, but for privacy reasons we cannot release any further information about this individual.

For future reference, there are several ways to protect yourself and keep your account secure:

    1) Never share your password with anyone, not even family or friends. Treat your password like your bank card PIN, and keep it top secret.

    2) Use a complex password. Ideally your password should include at least 8 alphanumeric symbols. For example, "po_k3R-One" is a stronger password than "poker1".

    3) If you decide to use the "Remember Password" feature, be cautious when allowing others to access your computer. Family and friends may log in and play without realizing your account contains real money.

    4) Regularly scan your computer for viruses and spyware to ensure there are no harmful programs on your computer that could capture your password.

While these precautions cannot completely guarantee the protection of your Full Tilt Poker account and computer, they will improve your account and computer security.

If you would like to change your account password to make it more secure, just follow these four steps:
  2. kudos to the security and nice score sir.
  3. sounds like something jamers would do

  4. im pretty sure ftp can figure out who it is by looking up whoever has logged on from the same IP?

  5. yeah they did that and told me they took action against the person. It says that in the email. However they wont tell me who it is. I mean i can check and see what IP they tried to log in from but that does me no good. I am not good with computers.

  6. I had the same exact thing happen to me on FULL TILT
  7. I had the same exact thing happen on Full Tilt after a nice score. Bad people are sitting there watching final tables and tring to crack accounts.
  8. well hopefully it's no one you know personally but that's the only thing that would make sense to me would be crazy for a random person to start guessing a password it would more likely be someone who knows you personally enough to come up with a guess worth trying
