Anyone know what happened near the end? I was watching and thought they'd cut a deal; then I went to do something else and now I see the results and it looks like no deal was made. Anyone know who nixed the deal? Just curious...thanks!

there was a deal...final 4 cut a deal. CL got 110k, 2 & 3 got about 82K, and 4th got 70some. CL made out like a bandit IMO.

This is absolutely the wrong way to think about deal making IMO.

I don't blame you at all for taking that deal, would have probably done the same thing in your situation. 4-handed is just too risky. Would have been nice of him to go down to 105k, since it looked like he got very lucky to get where he was (7-2o vs JJ on the final table bubble, plus the deck hitting him in the face after he bluffed off most of his stack at the final table)

My bad, I was going by the P5 writeup, which doesn't indicate a deal was made. Anyway, congrats on a great Sunday, Randers!

I saw the entire FT and don't see anything wrong with the deal Randers ($*Haddox*$) made for himself. Locked up a min. payout almost twice what 4th would have paid and while he may have given up the chance at 150K had he won, there was a lot of risk involved to get there. There had been some prettty dramatic movement of chips around the table prior to the deal and the CL had the other three outchipped by almost 2-1.
At the time of the deal, I'ms sure it looked pretty good to all of the shorter stacks.
