My latest interaction with FTP via email:
I'm not trying to be a jerk here but come on, please listen to what I have to say and forward this to someone in your company who might actually give a shit. I logged in to FTP to play for the first time in months. I used to be a regular with a pretty nice bankroll that I decided to cash out because of your poor customer service and rakeback policy. I reg for some $26 sng's and start to think maybe I will make a deposit again. Maybe FTP customer service has improved. I then get kicked off for no apparent reason(while I'm playing) and a week or so later allowed back on and reimbursed a $26 token for the tournament i was still in at the time, of which i had chipped up in and several people had been eliminated already. It doesn't take a MIT professor to determine that I had more than $26 equity in that tourney. I mean it's just frustrating because it is so obvious that you guys just don't give a shit about your customers. I really hope that someday you can get it figured out because I used to enjoy playing on your site.
Thank You,

I will never play on this site again. -
to be fair, you are probably haggling over about $5 in equity
-
also, to be fair, you sound like a douche. why is it so hard to understand that having a calm, reasonable, kind demeanor goes further than being a dick to someone from whom you hope to receive help? there's a new post like this every day...so baffling.
-
The money is not the issue. You guys really don't see the issue here? They jerked me around for a week over nothing and just don't give a shit. Thats the point. I could care less about the $5 or whatever.
If I sounded like a jerk it was because this is not the first exchanging of emails I've had with FTP support and trust me I started off being nice. I quit playing there months ago because of stuff like this and I'm done playing it nice with them. They get away with crap all the time and we all just think it's normal. -
You even say in your email that you think maybe customer service has improved, yet you contact them with all the nastiness you would reserve for those that have already wronged you. Can't have it both ways.

Just my opinion.
Also, my opinion, In a situation like that, I'd be glad I got my buy-in back.

What is there for them to give a shit about? You got your money back. I think it is you that is trying to do the jerking around. Over nothing. -
I have already been wronged. Hence the explanation. Don't worry about it dude. Just keep feeding the sites their rake and they will be happy. When it's your turn to get screwed I'll be sure to respond to your frustrations.

So you don't care about your 14 cents in additional equity, but you compose a nasty email that says "I'm an asshole, give me something I didn't earn," they give you your buyin back (which they didn't have to do), then you post a thread about it which says "look everyone, I'm an asshole," then when the whole thread confirms that you are indeed an asshole, you get indignant yet still try to claim that you don't care...
There are plenty of reasons to get upset over the incompetence of Full Tilt employees. This is not one of them. Chillax a little bit and move on... -
Clearly, you are the one with the issues. FTP has done nothing wrong. Grow up.
-
at least they answered your email
-
Fulltilts customer service is the worst in the industry and EVERYONE knows it. If they dont they havent played on their site than! I agree with OP completely customer service should be a priority for ANY company. yet they treat their bread and butter players like shit its sad.
-
Obv Brag that Full Tilt responds to your emails
-
When I write a company hoping to receive something in return I don't use profanities
If I am the employee on the other end just doing my job trying to make a pay check my initial thought after your first sentence is "fuck this guy" and I'm certainly not going out of my way to help you -
They can't give you equity back dude. I've tried this b4 too on other sites, just be happy u got ur buy in back
-
I am not saying FTP support is the best or anything, but I would prefer the expertise and man power they do have goes into stopping people from cheating and/or doing other illicit activity that happens to occur within the site. The fact they responded to an email about you being disgruntled about losing a few dollars in equity shows due diligence in my opinion. I am sorry for your misfortune, but it doesn't concern me enough to "never play on FTP again!".
-
Their customer service does suck, you made out better than most people actually.
I plan to move more of my business to FTP because now stars seems to have made a brilliant business decision to limit the amount of P2P transfers. Hopefully FTP does not also plan to do this as it would kill the staking industry and make the high stakes tournaments much smaller. -
FTP support is so bad, i requested a HH and they just ignore the e-mail, i then ask if they are ignoring me they say no but no HH and reply after that? also nice of them not to give me rakeback after i've paid them 5 figures in rack, it's like they dont even care.

I will never play on this site again. -
That is the thing. They don't care and that is the point of this post. They originally gave me nothing. They just locked my account for no reason and waited for me to get extremely frustrated before replying to any of my emails. They restored my account after a week or so and go about their business like nothing happened. I then had to correspond with them again to say hey, what about the tournaments I was playing at the time.
What kind of business in the real world gets away with crap like this?
please listen to what I have to say and forward this to someone in your company who might actually give a shit.
I made this statement because I'm so tired of the form letters and standard bullshit responses from this company. It's obvious that the management has no involvement with customer issues. When I sent this email I had already decided I was never playing on FTP again so the point was to make a statement to their customer service department about how bad of a job they are doing. It wasn't to argue over a few bucks. I used to spend thousands in rake on this site and would expect them to treat me like a good loyal customer. When that didn't happen I left (seperate issue months ago) and will encourage everyone I can to not play there because I have no doubt that you will end up dissatisfied sooner or later. -
I disagree with almost everyone in this thread. If you are kicked off the site during a tournament, you should be reimbursed your equity in the tournament. FTP is treating the OP terribly, essentially stealing from him, and OP has every right to be pissed, and is absolutely justified in reacting like he is in the email he sent to FTP. For FTP to credit a player JUST the buyin of the tournament if he has a larger stack than the starting stack when he is kicked off is pure crap.
My next email would be:
My equity in the tournament was $xx.xx because my stack was xxxx and the starting stack was xxxx. Please credit me with the appropriate amount unless you can send back proper justification that I should only be credited with $26.
-------
FTP really needs to step up here. In FTP's shoes, I would be offering the OP full equity, an apology for the gross mishandling of his case, and an extra $26 token for both of his inconvieniences that FTP caused.
Kicking the OP out of a MTT mid-tourney through no fault of his own, and denying OP full equity from this tournament are both completely unacceptable. -
I hear a lot of stories of FTP players getting kicked out while playing. I don't believe I have ever heard this about stars or other places.
Do we know why they do this? Even if they suspect a problem, I don't see why they need to lock down immediately. -
LOL @ bitching about getting your monies back!!!
My account has been officially suspended for a week now and I've gotten one generic response to my email. I can't even get a real response regarding the closing of my account and your pissed that....wait, why are you mad again? Was it because it took so long? IDK get over it brah. -
ohhhhh yeah......I see the issue...
FCK FullTilt and their gross mishandling of their customer service standards!! As I stated in an early thread, online poker really needs to be taxed/regulated so that this lack of competition doesn't exist. With the influx of new sites coming into the US market, FullTilt would be forced into doing something(anything?) about all of their issues.
I saw the same thing just happen in CT with Foxwoods/Mohegan. For a couple years the 'Woods had the only game around, about a year ago Mohegan opens its' room and now they have to fight for business. Toke rates go down, comp amounts increase, as well as the introduction of a high hand jackpot and bad beat jackpot. THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN THE US!! Bring in other companies and Full Tilt will have no choice!!
END RANT/ -
Everyday i see a thread about Fulltilts horrible customer service....wouldnt u think they would do something about it ? LOL
