Hey Guys,
I was just curious as to what your favorite moment of the year has been so far. It may be a big win online, deep finish in a live event, moving up to the next level, first big withdraw or even waking up one saturday morning to a post about a hand in a 109r.....
As for me I think my answer would be simply playing poker. I made my first deposit on stars in August, and joined the P5 community shortly thereafter. Like most newcomers to online poker, I thought I knew a lot about the game just from watching it on tv and playing some games with friends. It turned out I was wrong and I made my 2nd deposit right after my first. The more I read P5s, the more I began to understand how to play poker. I have not been able to play much lately due to the fact that college is my main focus, but I still feel like I am learning more about this game. My deposits are beginning to be further and further apart and hopefully I will no longer have to.

Everyday when I wake up and realize that I dont have an assignment due or have to go to work. - So basically, like you said, "just playing poker".
Good post OP, good luck in the near future!
If I could give you 1 piece of advice it would be to keep putting all u cant into poker if you truely love it, but it is also important to have things outside of poker that are important to you as well, for many reasons, but mainly escape and balance. -

Getting a better job that meant I could play poker recreationally and not have to grind $30-$50 SnG's against regulars anymore AFTER I got home from work. :(
Now I can play as drunk as I want, take shots at higher limits, etc... without caring. It's a pretty great feeling. -

Well a huge thing for me this year was the ginats winning XLII that was truly fucking amazing
then 4 months later my detroit redwings win Lord Stanley's Mug
also shipped my first MTT that wasn't a 180 -
