  1. ^^It's all in the title. Just share any unusual or fun things that have happened to you in your last 24 hours of play.

Mine.......people have caught quad kings against me twice today.

And it's not a bad beat either, as I didn't lose any chips in one case, and as little as possible on the other.

    Your turn......
  2. I guy won a pot against me on FTP....and proceeded to say SORRY, when he took the pot. The funny thing is, he was serious. Does anyone else find that weird? Wouldnt we find that in the, "What Donks say?", section? Anyone?
  3. Well its not fun. But ive played 8 tourneys today. And didnt cash in one. And in every single one I got busted when I got my money in as at least a 75% favorite.. KKvs 99. KQ vs KJ.. A10 vs A5.. Ive heard of variance but this has been three days straight of this BS.
  4. Oh, and another, three times when I've been all in, or my opponent has gone all in and I call, they have had Aces.

Again, not a bad beat, but dang.

  5. Only fun thing for me was finishing 19th in a 180 my 10 10 against A 10. Didnt matter about the bottom money but I would have had a decent stack going into the money if I win.
  6. in the last 24 hours ive had some terrible hands that really been gettin me down. just cant seem to avoid it. AA vs 66 raise/reraise PRE w/ a flop of T86 rainbow, and the same guy cracked my KK w/ J7s all in preflop >:O. many more, not quite as drastic, but enough to cause me to sneak in a smoke last night lol
  7. I was goofing around on UB and took 100 dollars to a 1 cent 2 cent limit table.
Biggest stack was $1.50. They thought I was a Poker GOD!!!
  8. TILT
  9. Finished 8th in a 180 man 4$ sng for 18 bucks, went on monkey tilt, entered a 36 dollar stud h/l satellite for the million, got 14th where 13th payed. Drank heavily, broke mouse, got it back together and won 2sngs, so only down 15 for the day
  10. ^^^^^You're winning this thread as of now. That'll be hard to beat.

  11. i was playing in that 1 mil qualifier on UB. I was sittin pretty good with 6000 in chips blinds were 200/400, that's when a funny had came up. I was OTB with A5d. It folds around to the person sitting 2 seats behind me, he has 8000 and limps, guy next to him has 2500 and limps, i limp, SB fold and BB checks. The flop comes all diamonds. BB checks, 1st limper bets 400, the 2nd limper shoves. I let the bank run all the way down and then just call the all in. BB folds and the 1st limper insta shoves. I call. Hilarity ensues. 1st limper had 9Td and the 2nd limper had 23d. I won the hand and then got berated by the 1st limper for letting my time run down and only calling the all in. after this hand he pushed every hand untill he got busted out. He then went on the call me a moron and then told me he hoped i would die. I went on to place in this, but really didn't care cause this was far better than getting the win.
  12. Went to a brick and mortar casino with a group of friends. Lost $80 in a $3/$6 game in three hours, no fault to the casino or my playing ability. Just didn't get cards at all, and it sucked. Then lost a $100 in Blackjack when I was smart enough to leave after being ahead. But I made money at slots, yes at slots! I was like that kid in National Lampoon. "I put in a dollar, and won a car, I put a dollar in and won a car." You just need to substiute dollar for five dollars, and car for ten dollars. It was pretty cool.
  13. I havent won a showdown with aces, kings or queens in the last 3 days. However most of them i have gone in with the best, the only one i can think of i didnt was kings vs aces. And more recently ive lost my last two fullhouses, by rivered better ones. Not a good run
  14. Not to be whack and post about beats, but in 100nl I'm 1 for 7 with sets on the flop over my last 3 sessions. The 1 was when i turned quads. All 7 were all in situations. Pretty impressive if i say so myself. Everything else has been good.
  15. i bet $1500 that i would make top 45 in the 11r (fucked it up)

    bubbled for a wsop seat.

lost the $200r when i pushed all in w/ 84 suited.

I was in 2nd place with 130k chips with 17 to go in the $109 rebuy. 2 hands later I am out in 17th place.

I bluffed off all my chips with 21 players remaining in the party $300 when i was in 4th place at the time. Got in drawing dead.

hmm...what else.... just burned my mouth eating pizza, that was pretty fun...havent slept in 45 hours...and decided to stay in and play poker tonight instead of going to party at my friends house.

I AM NOT GOOD AT DECISION MAKING

  16. Cuz of the stakes on ur limits uve outdone me. I thought it was bad being chipleader with 44left and busting out 39th. After my turned fullhouse got beat by a rivered better one, two outter. Then my kings ran dead smack into aces. Then i lost the right side of a race.
  17. I went to Commerce for a couple hours of NL. The $100 buy in had a huge board so I say what the hell, I'll go play the $40 buy-in until a seat opens up. I sit down and hear from several players about the guy in seat 7 being a BIG ACTION junkie. So big that he had already blown around $250, in a $40 buy in. Well to make a long story short, I had planned on playing only til a seat in the $100 opened and for about 2-3 hours total. 10 hours later, up $700 I decided to leave. And the action player, well he was down $1700 for the night. I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it. Guess that's what happens when you keep pushing all in on that gut shot straight draw! LOL
