Haven't had a good score but haven't put in any volume yet either and am currently only rolled for the $26 donkaments. What do I imagine I'll do???.... umm probably hoard every penny of it in my acccount and be sure to not tell the g/f so I don't end up spewing off $$'s to support her SNG habit (again... sigh....) - - hoard it so that I am rolled to at least be playing the $50buyins.

How properly rolled are you for those $26 donkaments?

Imo if you want a small br to go really really really far put it on stars and play a days worth of their $11 tourneys plus their 4.4/180's. No decent player in the world can go broke with this mixture and just one run of good luck and you've binked yourself 5k.

after ftops i took a shower at 6am (which i wake up at like noon normally) so when my mom got up for work and heard me she got like super worried and didnt know what was going on. I had to tell her at that point that i just won a bunch of money and i think it just worried her more.

My first 4 figure score was on Pacific Poker when I was 19 yo. I remember thinking how excited I was to win $1,500 in a $33 tourny. Unemployed at the time, it was a pretty sweet feeling. However I've hated finishing 2nd in a tourny since that day lol.

I came thru with my first 5 figure score this year on Bodog and since I won the tourny, it was my most shibby moment playing poker! I let out a huge scream of yes!...Which of course woke my family up :-P. In contrast, I finished 2nd in the same tourny a little over 3 months later and didn't make a sound haha.

My winnings were either wire transferred to my bank or paid in several checks. I've set money aside from what I've won this year to pay taxes, though I despise it. Taxes suck imo.

party poker 750k guarenteed i took 5th for 27k. I was 19 and living in my first apartment at penn state. Dropped the semester and enjoyed the best 3 months of my life.

First time i won a couple g's was back when i was a idiot and only played on UB for some dumb reason. Usually what occurs is a few more cashes for another couple g's and then a late night at the bar ensues followed by me Blasting threw my winnings blacked out drunk at 3:00 a.m. Unfortuneatley I have repeated this cycle multiple times on stars and ftp as well. Wake up in morning with hangover...wtf again...check cpu....chat is banned = bankroll is dusted. Except one day when i managed to FT a $50 rebuy blacked out, what an accomplishment. I wish stars had a 12 hr self exclusion like ftp so i could make a decent living. Putting $200 on stars today and planning on no drinking until WCOOP is over minus a few beers here and there.

Cool thread. The most I ever won was about 4400 coming in 2nd in the Nightly 27.50 (shouldve got first, lost two 70/30's w/ a 3to1 chip lead to allinstevie HU...grr.) My only question is, why isn't anyone answering this part of the question:

I don't post much here, but this made me remember my first "big" score... My first 4-figure win was taking down a $20/180 SNG but the one that I remember like it was yesterday was about 2 years ago. It was FT's nightly $50k. I was exhausted and short stacked and decided once I was ITM I would just go to bed and let myself get blinded off. So I went to bed and couldn't fall asleep so I went back down after about 20 mins. I had about 5-6 BBs and got dealt KQo shoved, got 2 calls and tripled up (somehow). After another hour of playing I built up a decent stack but was falling asleep at the computer, so I decided to go to bed, again. Went to sleep and woke up OVER AN HOUR LATER and couldn't believe I had left the tournament. So I walked down fully expecting to have been blinded off. I still had a few BBs and the tournament was down to 2 tables. I worked my way back up and ended up taking 3rd for a little over $3k...

I've had several 4 fig scores but my first 5 fig went like this: I was at "The Battle of the Bay" in S.F. made the final table about 6th in chips in a limit holdem tourney. I
watched the other players and I soon recognized a potential target. She was directly to my left and she was very aggressive. She was obv betting people off their hands often to acquire her stack. She had on a shirt that said "Bitch with an attitude" or
something like that and it was obv she was not liked by the table or the some 40 people on the rail. It was folded to me in the SB So I decided to take a shot and raised w/52off!! she reraised me pre and I just called. The flop came K72 giving me a pair of deuces. I bet out and she raised. I thought for a moment and didn't buy it and reraised!! She just called. the turn was another low card and all the money went in.
The dealer says: " turn em up" so I showed my pair of deuces and she jumped out of her seat and got right in my face saying "how can you raise w/that" you fkn suck" etc. Meanwhile the rail said "well what do you got?" and "ghetto poker baby!" then all
40 of them started chanting "deuce deuce deuce" ...She rolled over AQ for A high.
With the rail still chanting "Deuce! deuce! deuce!" the dealer rolled over the river card
and lo and behold it was a Deuce!!!!! The whole place erupted!! Went on to chop HU for 10k. That was the funnest FT I've ever been at!
