Adam,
There have been several questions posed throughout this thread, but I've yet to see any responses.
Q1: Does he have any restrictions assigned with his reinstatement?
When a criminal is released from prison, it's usually not without restrictions. And while I'm sure that Stars is monitoring his activity closely, I think it's important for people to know that, even when a lifetime ban is lifted, that you aren't back at square one.
Q2: It can't be a coincidence that the reinstatement occurred immediately before a significant series of MTT's began. So when did the reinstatement process begin; who started the process; and how did the timing of the SCOOP events impact the decision process (if at all).
While I doubt you have the answers, I'd appreciate any perspective that you might have on these questions.
Thanks. -
Hi Spanky, I appreciate the questions. I wish I knew the answers to these, but PokerStars has not given me any information about this at all. I don't think you need my opinions on this to fuel the fire....there's already plenty of fire :)

I think Spanky is taking this whole thing way too personal and serious.. Of course the higher buy in players are going to be treated differently. Thats true in all aspects of life. But I dont understand why your leaving the site over this.. I mean I have a difference in opinion with Jennifear,SCT,Waco,Andy, etc doesnt mean I think any less of them.. I still consider a few of them friends and im sure they still consider me the same tool I was before this.. Just a difference of opinion on a subject. Its not a big deal.. And the community has spoken obv.. The polls here and on twoplustwo are pretty much similiar.. So I guess its a good move and GL to Justin in the future.
And SirSwish is my personal saviour. -
I say let him play, I cant even imagine all the dumb/illegal shit I did when I was 19 years old I mean come on. No, Im not saying what he did was right but he was a kid and people make mistakes.
Edit: I would also like to add I have the most respect for Adam and the rest of the people running this site. The guy seems like such a class act, and genuinely cares for the state of poker today I believe. -
Everyone should be given another chance. Let him play

I am OK with his re-instatement. I think he paid for his wrongdoing. He was punished, appears to be rehabilitated from his cheating ways, now ready to kill it on Stars.
