So I started playing again on a regular basis. Started at the 1.10 45 man turbos on stars and am currently at the 3.25s. I kept seeing this guy Zornh0lio (0 is a number not the letter) at a ton of my tables. I decided to look him up and saw that he frequently is playing 20+ tables at a time. This wasn't that big of a deal to me, but it seemed like he was always on when I was. After looking at his OPR, I saw that he has ran over 14,000 45 man turbos in last 120 days. Is this for real?? I mean, are any of you guys, or your friends actually playing this sort of volume? I thought Boku was doing crazy shit, but this guy has played almost 3 times as many games over the last 4 months. Just curious if it's possible to put in this volume, and if so, what your life is like. Seems like he's -EV right now but maybe he's just shooting for SN or SNE? Any ideas?

Not that hard putting in a full schedule of 45's, esp if he's mixing in 18s etc. You sure you filtered it right?
But still, not that hard if he's playing 40 hours a week. -
Ya, I guess your right. Looks like all he plays are the 45 mans plus some 180s occasionally. Just seems like a crazy grind playing 20+ tables at a time for 40 hours a week. Maybe I'll try it next week and see where it gets me. (On a side note, he looks to be at -1% roi over 15,000 sample size.)
-
If he is going for a VIP level he will most likely make SN. I think I calculated it out properly and found that he has to play 73000 3.25 to make SN (5.5 VPP/$).
So,
100000/5.5 ~= 18200*4 ~= 73000.
I think I did the math right but I could be off. -
I don't understand how you can have the will to play 14,000 45-man turbos at a 0% ROI.

Rakeback pro IMO.

sounds super boring, and yes i have a friend who puts in alot higher volume than this man playing higher stakes cash
-
I see him in just about every 12x45 I play. He has an avatar of an old wwe wrestler IRS
for a grinder I dont think he is that good. -
I know plenty of people that put in over 100 sngs at higher levels than this.. Not that hard if you are 24 tabling them to do in a few hours a day.. If you treat it like your job anyway.. I can't 24 table, so for me its a different story.. I'd also rather clean dog shit than playing $1 sngs.. Who knows though, maybe he has some kind of prop bet going or is working on his multitabling before he moves up..

This guy used to reg 27s and I think 60s, back when I used to. I always thought he had a lot of leaks (pushed too wide if thats possible and definitely called WAY light.) Still it shocks me you are seeing him at the 3s. I would have thought he would crush those.
-
He always seemed nitty to me and I know a few 45 grinders who say out of any he reg. he is by far the biggest nit. I actually played a 45 the other day where he folded for two orbits and finally shoved with 2.5bbs. That said, I always thought his game to be decent. I'm like you in the sense that I'm surprised he isn't beating the 3s
-
I suppose he might have gotten gunshy getting it shoved down his throat at the higher levels so he might have over corrected I suppose. Or maybe I just got the wrong read from a few hands that I blew out of proportion. He used to snap me with any suited J for 6+ BBs anywhere from the CO off if he was in either blind.

He may be beating the $3s but his OPR says ABI $9.26 and he's -1% so he must be playing mainly $6s and $12s and just losing there. I would think (from what I've seen) that any half way competent player can have +ROI @ the $3s. At least that's what I'm hoping :)

rs03rs03 tho

Yea I've played with him in a ton of $6.50 45er games. He was fairly solid and seemed decent, I got sick of always seeing his avatar on everytable. But he seemed decent and played ABC.
