free roller from "banned" state wins, whats the site/state going to do?

    Lets say your playing from a banned state like Washington and wonder of wonders you earn the right and pass the audition for FOX/PS million dollar tourney. What do you think PS would do if you win? What do you think the state would do?

    nothing

    most ppl dont even know about this law and its never been enforced and prob never will be (unless HR 2267 goes through and Gregoire opts out our state, in which case we won't even be able to access most poker sites anymore cuz our IPs would be banned)

    but lets hope the bill goes through and the law in our state is changed/Gregoire doesnt opt us out

    Until and unless you win lots of money, absolutely no one is going to care, and maybe not even then.

    The site will let you know if your state of residence is a problem for them (I do not imagine this will be the case) and the state will not react until long after all is done.

    So the bottom line is: STOP WORRYING AND HAVE FUN!

    The absolute worst that can happen to you is that you win a lot of money and the Government comes after the money. Seriously, that is the worst possible outcome. But they can't take the money if you don't win it! SO PLAY!

    Actually the state of Washington has made it a FELONY to play online poker for real money. Doubt it would be enforced but thats def. not the worst that can happen.
