Hey, I heard that FTP are being investigated by the FBI.
From what I have read up, people are saying the the FBI have questioned players in VA regarding depositing and withdrawing money on the site. They are also looking at arresting Howard Lederer, i'm not saying that this is 100% true. However I have emailed FT 3 times now regarding this, asking the same thing, coming from a cautious player, I have the right to know. They will not answer me, making me only think that maybe there is more truth to this than spam.
Anyone comment???? -
Full Tilt barely responds to any emails as it is, what makes you think that would respond to emails regarding their potential involvement breaking gambling and money laundering laws?
The site is not going to close any time soon, google the phrase "court probe into internet poker site" and you'll find a reliable summary of what's going on. -
heard, but not yet realized. site still open for viewing.

1st of all they ftp is one of the biggest poker site like some1 else said they are not closing anytime soon. so just keep play

I think the US is nervous about prosecuting them. First of all, there isn't a law that explicitly prohibits online poker. So any prosecution would be based on laws that indirectly address the situation. If the US loses in court, it could essentially create a common law and open pandora's box.

Since Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson were both named in the Financial Times article, they have to clarify it.

unless youre a nosebleed cash game player or just playing some various tournaments i dont see any reason to play on FTP anyway
-
I sure do wish that they close. Don't keep any large amount of money in your account that you couldn't afford to lose

The Financial Times article came out in April and there has been no movement on this front since. Poker News Daily wrote an article about conflicting stories regarding the grand jury investigation's existence that's worth checking out.
