  1. I´d appreciate some feedback on where i should move to play online poker.

I am a fairly succesfull poker pro who can´t move back to my home state of Washington. Thanks to their BS rulings i can´t live close to my family in the Bellingham or Seattle area as i had been planning for some time now.

I´m thinking of moving to Oregon or California. If i move to Cali i want a town under 150k population on the coast somewhere. I´m really concerned about 2 things. The legislative climate in regards to Poker and the quality of life. Cost of living is a consideration too i guess since i will be making the same wherever i go.

Can anyone shoot me some feedback on where Poker is most likely to stay legal and where they would like to live if they were a single 30 something looking for a long term home. I love the Ocean but Portland might be an option for me.

    Thanks in advance,

  2. Are they really arresting online poker players anywhere? I'm imagining that every state is going to have the same withdrawl hangups, so why not just pick a place where you want to live, and play poker from there?
  3. as of now!! Cali. don't seem to be a bad option, The only thing is, is that I don't think it's going to get any better for the USA player in the future, they have their foot in the door and that only means their are more things going to change. They are turning to other reasonn why it shouldn't be leagal such as, the way we can send money back and fourth oversea's, and they are starting to really push the cheat factor that their is playing online, with player's and site's,and Im sure you heard that on the news in Was. I can only surport online gambling, and hope everyone else dose the same, it don't take that much time away from playing.. I read something a year or so ago, and it said that the law wasn't really to make arrest of the online poker player, it was to make it harder for him to play/deposit/&withdraw..and to put pressure on the site's
  4. South Lake Tahoe,CA
  5. Several of the TOP online pros (read: making WAY more $$$ than you) live in Washington... specifically Seattle, Bellingham and Bothell...

So move back to washington if you want to.
