    Why does everyone post misleading titles? Not enough attention as a kid?

    A panel - not the full Assembly - gave it the green light.

    Too bad Christie is gonna nuke it anyway. No reason to get one's hopes up, just like with all the other bills and whispers of bills over the last two years from other states/Feds.

    Obama should push egaming and legalizing medical marijuana for his new campaign. That would be nearly an instant re-elect... Oh plus gay marriage -_-

    basing his platform on gambling, marijuana, and gay marriage is pretty much a perfect way for him to not get elected

    Don't see how legalizing weed would be good for obama's campaign but don't see how poker would hurt his campaign if nothing else he would gain support from more ppl. Back on topic this is another good step in the right direction keeping my fingers crossed they can get this thru this year.

    Really, whether Obama comes out in favor of gay marriage, gambling, drug legalization, etc. would have a very limited effect on his chances of getting re-elected. And it would also have a pretty limited effect on whether or not the relevant legislation gets passed. Presidential elections are mostly determined by a fairly narrow set of economic indicators.
