    <SPAN>Thank you for contacting me to express your support for H.R. 2046, the Internet Gambling Regulation and Enforcement Act. I appreciate hearing your views on this important issue.

    Like you, I believe online gambling should be as safe and secure as possible. H.R. 2046 may accomplish this goal. This legislation would provide greater regulation of online gambling by regulating poker operators and protecting against illegal, underage, and compulsive gambling. Currently, H.R. 2046 is pending approval by the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Committee on Financial Services. Although I do not serve on these Committees, you can be assured I will continue to monitor this issue keeping your views close in mind.

    In the meantime, thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts with me, and I hope you will continue to stay in touch.

    Great news! Thanks for sharing it.

    Rep. Yarmuth is B rated in my guide. He didn't vote on HR 4411, and is cosponsoring Rep. Berkley's Study Bill.

    Based on his willingness to advocate for our rights, I'll bump him up to A-. I hope you'll remember to thank him for his support, and perhaps ask him to cosponsor HR 2046 (IGREA) and HR 2610 (the Wexler bill). Thanks.
