    Heard from a dept of justice official that penalties will be swift if one plays on a site that is not usa regulated within us boundaries. Money laundering concertns and what not have me thinking to play on the regulated sites and avoid any poker sites that is within usa terrritoery of players and not legal.

    The penalties won't be on players. There is no federal law against playing online poker, so there's nothing for the DoJ to do in that regard.
