Oh were to begin. We can drink alcohol, which can be extremely addicting. We can watch pornography online, extremely addictive. We can sniff glue, eat fast food, drink mountain dew, smoke cigarettes, eat Twinkies, eat till we are too fat to move, and play X-Box live. All of these things can be addicting, just ask a "BLACK OPS" or "HALO" widow. But we can’t play online poker because it is addictive? Tell me I am wrong but isn’t there a level of hypocrisy here? We pay our taxes on all our winnings, we start and fund multiple charities, we contribute to our local communities, and a lot of other things. But we can’t play because playing online poker doesn’t contribute to “society”. But we can play, drink, eat, and smoke till we die? I don’t understand this at all. Time to stop the BS, un cage the tiger that is the poker industry, and regulate us for goodness sakes. Online poker would be safer with bars to keep underage children from playing and those who get too addicted help when they need it. But we can’t because it is immoral, doesn’t contribute to society, and is addicting? Really…. This is the United States of America; I didn’t go overseas to fight for this country so that our corrupt Congress can make their biased, personal views into law. Anyone have the same thoughts?

My thought is that your premise as presented in what I quoted is incorrect.
