I really try avoiding putting all my chips in against a player who has me covered. Especially, when I have such a healthy stack as here. I think he rather misplayed his hand preflop, giving me or other players a chance to suck out on him - what actually happened.
I hope you realise that I was ahead on the flop by 5%. So in terms of chip-ev I won. He made me put T180 in when i was behind with an equity of 31% (ignoring mp3), but i made him put T5600 when he had an equity of 45%.
With my Nutflushdraw, Broadway-Gutshot and two Overcards it was obvious to me, that I was ahead.
Still, I should have check-raised a higher amount, because I would not have liked to see a call.
When I have a made hand, and feel like being a small favorite, i rather like keeping the pot small, giving my oppenent the chance to outdraw on my, because i like to minimize my losses. But the problem with a Draw Hand is that if I don't hit the Turn, then my chances to improve are almost as half as good as on the flop. If i hit, only with the gut-shot i would like my implied odds. An Ace would scare my oppenent, and i couldn't be sure having the best hand either. A third diamond would slow him probably also a little bit.
I also do not see how I could fold this hand on the flop.
I wonder how other players would have played this hand.
Besides not Check-Raising as much as I should, I like my performance.
The Big Blind was sitting out, otherwise i'd raised to T100.
BTW: My preflop call was absolutely standart!
