So I played a small set of tournies tonight. A 2.25 turbo, a 5.50 freezeout, and a 5.50 razz. My buddies came over, and we played in the tournies together (not to collude, trust me. We wanted to play against each other.) He ended up busting out of them, and played in a few more. He took down a 2.25 HORSE tourney for 50 bucks, which was pretty sweet. I made it deep in the razz tourney, and ended up chopping four ways. I got 2 bucks short of 2nd place, close enough imo. Saved some time also. So my buddy transferred me back the money I lent him, and with my score of the night I made it to 418.78. I am almost rolled for .50-1 stud now. 30 bucks to go, and up the stakes I go!!! I can also start playing the $8.80 180 mans, including shot taking in the $10-20 range. Coming from nothing, I am so stoked. One thousand doesn't seem so far away anymore.
