After hitting $25 in my stars account (remember, I started with $1) a week ago, I wend down to 10 bucks yesterday. I didn't actually play that much this weekend, I felt I wasn't playing my best (my best still being bad by most standards) and the cards weren't cooperating.
I also needed a break from 1.10s so I tried the 2.20 180 mans (as I said in my previous post, I don't understand those but the ROI for 1st is really good. I played 2 and busted 36th and 32nd, both times with a top 10 stack loosing a flip to a larger stack.
My only cash in a week came a a turbo 0.10 tournament: won 0.30 for 99th. Woohoo.
I made a nice run in a 2.20 tournament, ultimately loosing 100 spots from the money QQ<TT. It's the 2nd time this week I bust like this. I hate QQ, I absolutely always lose with them bia. I will seriously start folding them pre soon, I've just lost too much money because of them.
My trip to Macau was cancelled, my friend having a biz trip just that weekend, I guess I won't see any of the action around an APPT for some time then. We'll go to Macau at a later date for sure, I miss the poker room.
I made one buyin in our homegame last week after buying in 6 times. I played horrendously, twice losing an all in because I didn't see the flush and was holding trips (guess what, one of those times I had pocket Q). After my last double buyin, I started getting cards, won a nice pot with aces, and finally won an 800 yuan pot (8 buyins) when I hit a full house on the turn holding 42 in the BB against the chip leader and his 2 pair. Nice, I was ready to drop 500, ended up winning 100.
Alright, I hope I can build my online roll back over the 20s this week, and I can't wait for our next live game.
