• Really inconsistent play by me

  I'm costing myself cash by just not doing what I know I have to do. Case and points: Cake 11 NL Rebuy - I raise MP with KQss and get raised in shoved on all in. I usually would fold (worried about second raiser) but call and shover has A10cc. Pot odds were correct but I usually fold that. Cake 109 NL - This was bad. I have JJ in BB and SB completes and I 3x it and he calls to flop of Q,8,5hh I bet half pot and he raises 3x, I call to see turn Q, which I like. Then he bets into it and I raise him and he shoves. Now obviously he has the Q m8. But I tilt call off to see the Q of course. I mean this tilt calling shit was set up by some early suckouts and I just get pissed. I know I shouldn't. I lot of times they happen in conjunction with me busting in another tourn like today in a 200K sattie I'm in SB and flop comes K,J,5 and limper bets it and I raise him 3x and he calls of course with 1010, well turn is 10 of c giving me NFD as well, and river is J. Then next hand this donkey raises gets shoved on and I call with KK to lose to 22 AIPF. Which leads to..... UB PLO Rebuy - I have KJ79ss and limp to have blinds complete and BB makes PSB so I call in position and SB shoves and BB folds and I call because I'm on tilt now and flop is K,8,8cc giving me no draw and I call he PSB to see AA obv. But I'm on tilt u see? PS OHL 109 - Here is why you don't play hands like Q765dd. I limp or maybe call small raise in postion multi way and flop is 7,4,2dd and I face a PSB. Now I have up/down st8 draw and flush draw and a weak lo. But bottom line is I have 6 outs to nutz and most likely I'm playing for half pot if I hit. But since I have position I call to see what happens and 5 of dd hits and he makes PSB. Now I put him on A3 on flop pot. Does he have A3dd? You see the trouble here? I'm calling off ALL my chips to win HALF the pot. Well he had it and I busted out. I know better but I must call myself out here in public. FTP PLO Rebuy - Played OK and aggresive guy makes PSB and I need to double and shoves with QQ75 double suit and he wins with AKK FTP PLO KO - My only cash of the day and a min cash at that. Shoved on button with AQ84 double suit and lost to KJ106. PS 55 PLO Rebuy - Well there is a maniac at the table raising half hands during rebuy and keeping active after break. I see what he is raising with because he is going to showdown, and losing. Ayway in MP he makes PSB and I have AKJ5 double suit in BB, SB calls raise and I make PSB to get pot big....he shoves and yes this time he has AA and it holds. FTP 44 OHL - I lose a bad pot AIPF with AA310dd to KKJ9 for 4k in chips. I double and my bust hand is hijack min raises and I'm calling on button with A228cc and flop is K,3,8dd giving me middle pair and nut lo draw. He makes PSB and I shove hoping to see a naked A2 but he has AA3dd. I can't hit a 8,2 to scoop or any lo card. PS PLO 55 - I have AK107hh and flop is Q,J,3hh and guy makes PSB, I min raise with wrap st8 draw and NFD and he calls and I turn nutz with 10, I bet it again and he calls river is 3 and he insta shoves. Weird hand. I folded. Then BvsB flop is 10,9,6hh and I have KJhh and call a bet, turn is h giving me 2nd nutz BvsB checks I bet pot he min raise I shove he calls with QJhh drawing to one out....the 7h. And there it is on the river. UB 33 NL Rebuy - During rebuy I limp JJ and guy makes PSB on button I shove and he calls with 1010 and makes flush. After rebuy I have 10bbs in the BB and face over raise from short stack in MP. Do I want to race? I do... I lose to QJ. FTP 26 HA - Plenty o Chips and guy makes raise I call in postion with K689ss and flop is K,5,7ss giving me top pair/st8 draws and flush draw, he makes PSB I shove, he shoves, and he has 55. I'm racing 55% to win but no good. PS 33 HORSE - Some Sunday HORSE!!, Stud H/L A35cc to start and cap it with another guy who is short and has A45 and he scoops me. That put me to short stack and I couldn't recover. I can't remember anything else. But I was definitely playing my "D" game and got into with some people again. Cooler heads must prevail I'm a little disappointed in myself to be throwing hundreds of dollars away on multiple occasions the past couple weeks. No Comments on this post. • A hand with Dipthrong

  I'm not playing today but decided to to a post since I seem to have a few regulars reading the blog. I appreciate that and hopefully they would like to add some comments sometime to help improve my play or even words of encouragement help us all.  One fun thing about moving up to 75$ and 109$, 129$ tournaments on FTP and Stars is that I get to play at tables with some top MTTer's. In the 75$ 6 Max on FTP I've gotten Johnny Bax in position (to my right) for one tournament and Dipthrong OOP in another tournament (to my left).  I've played with Dipthrong to my right once on the money bubble of the UB 200K Guaranteed. I doubled through him a couple times while he was just abusing the bubble and I picked up AK and QQ while he was doing this and shoved on him both times to get called by J8dd and another similar type hand.   Dipthrongs stats for the 75$ 6 Max are 19/19. He is rasing 19% of his hands and playing 19%. So every pot he has entered has been for a raise. I raise in the hijack with 98cc and he flats (no raise for first time) in position. We see a flop of A,K,9 and I bet 320 into a 720 pot. He calls. I'm ready to check fold now but the turn is 8 giving me bottom two pair. I now feel I have the best hand. Would he flat with AK,AA,KK,99,A9? It's possible but I think considering his aggression level a raise would usually be in order (even if it is a small raise, just something to build the pot). Set mining with 99 is possible but I hold a 9 as well as a blocker (And its 6 Max which makes 99 more of a raiseable hand in position). Anyway I check to him believing he has A or K. He bets 720 into 1340 pot. Now there is 2K in the pot and I decide to raise because I have bottom two pair and there are lots of bad cards for me, likely anyway broadway type stuff and a possible flush. I raise 2k the size of the pot. It's a great raise because it should price out draws but will also leave him committed to calling my remaining 1.6K on the river with any A or K since there is over 6K in the pot if he calls. He does call and river is a 10. I shove the remaining chips and he calls with AQ giving me about 9k in chips. Obviously I was fortunate on the turn but I played the hand optimally and got to double through it. It may seem strange to question someone who is a significantly better holdem player but I personally don't see why he called my PSB turn raise. I guess he thought he had the best hand. But then what does he put me on that he beats? AJ, A10 or bluff really, a small range. I think more often that not I would be check raising with AK,A9,A8,99,98,88,AA,KK,AQ more frequently then AJ,A10. Sorry for all my typos in these blogs. Good luck all at the tables. • Finally some good news

  Ok, I'll say this. I kept my cool today. When ever anyone started to complain or just rant I put their chat to "ignore" to keep myself from getting involved.  FTP 22 Rebuy - Disappointing we are ITM and a big stack raises in hijack and I look down at JJ on button and shove on guy. I had a big stack myself and could have flatted or raised but I thought he would call shove since his stack was huge. Anyway, he had AK and it goes xxxxK. FTP 75 6 Max - I register late and first hand is AK. I raise, button raise, I reraise, it goes all in on flop and I lose to JJ. UB 33 Rebuy - Loose guy raises and I call with KJdd in BB and flop is J104 and he c-bets and button flats. I shove and get called by KQ and he hits. Then I have 88 and lose guy raise limpers in SB and I shove. He insta calls with J9 and I lose. I decide to quit. FTP 26 KO - Well I was doing well and then my JJ ran into AA, then I lost AIPF JJ to A8, AQ to AJ, and AK to AJ. What can I do? FTP PLO 11 Rebuy - Made FT, had to execute a stone bluff to get there and was make many PSB on bubble with a smaller stack. Anyway, 3 handed I limp on aggressive guy with AKQJdd and he makes PSB, we have same stack size I shove and he insta calls with 101066. I'm 60% on this one. Flop is J102, now 50%.....I whiff. UB PLO 11 Rebuy - Made FT and limp button with KQJ10ss. SB makes PSB....okay so here is AA obv...flop is J,6,8 and he puts the rest in. I have him covered and I believe all my outs are good, 11 for now. I call and his naked AA holds. I eventually bust 6th. PS 109 OHL - Made FT but bubbled the money in 7th when an aggresive guy in hijack made PSB and I shove with AKQ4ss. He calls with 23610 an scoops. Dang.... FTP 44 OHL - Made FT 3 left and button makes PSB. I flat in SB with A455 with intention of shoving flop if BB folds. He does and flop Q,9,3 and I make PSB, he calls with A368, turn is a sweet 2s giving me nut lo draw nut flush draw and wrap st8 draw, he can only chop with non spade 8 and scoop with two out 3.....and the 3 comes!! Dang..... PS 5 OHL Rebuy - Made FT 3 handed and I complete SB with K245hh and BB raises. I call to see flop of A,9,4hh giving me NFD and gutshot st8 and lo draw. I check raise him and he shoves, I call to see AQ99 for trips. Can I make a st8? a flush? a lo? He is 26% to scoop and scoop he does.... Dang!! FTOPS OHL Sat - Took a seat in 1 of 2 tournaments, playing great OHL for now I hope to keep it up. Good PLO and Holdem to. Off tomorrow and lets make a good run Saturday. No Comments on this post. • I tilted today

  Some things just didn't go well for me and I let it build until I was being rude at the tables and donking off chips. I thought I was through doing that stuff but I guess I was wrong. My girlfriend was not happy with me. FTP 75 6 Max - Things going fine 2/3 way through and I raise with KQhh, two callers to a flop of K,8,7hh. Of course I love this flop and make my usual c-bet and get raised. I shove and get called by 88. Nothing to do about that. UN 33 Rebuy - Going ok again and I get raised  BvsB and I look at AQo I shove and the guy tanks and calls with J10 and I'm out. Nothing to do about that happy with his call. FTP 75 - Late in tourn and I have 13bbs with AQ in SB and lose to KK in BB. Standard FTP PLO Rebuy - late in tourn again and aggressive guy makes PSB in hijack, I ship with QQ108cc (II only have 10bbs and I feel my hand is good vs his range) and he calls with A1010J I like it. I hit two 8s and he flushed. UB PLO Rebuy - I'm 3rd in chips and its FT bubble so I raise with Q1078 doulbe suit and BB makes PSB. No doubt he has AA and I like my hand vs AA with chips out there and I can afford to gamble (58% vs 42% pre). Anyway I lose that one and very next hand I limp 10982 double suit UTG and another stack my size makes PSB. Now at this bubble point all these guys makes PSB with AA (at least the randoms, some of the regulars will have wider range). So I call to try and crack AA cuz I know he won't get away from it and flop is 10,5,6dd and I make PSB and he shoves naked AA. I'm 72% to win this but don't and thats all she wrote. So these things kind of tick me off and then this: Doing great in all my OHL tourn and then deep in the PS OHL Rebuy I raise with AAQJdd UTG for some reason the SB feels he wants to call 3x OOP with K765 in OHL. Anyway flop is K,7,x dd and he bets I call to turn nut flush and lose to river boat. FTP OHL Rebuy again lots of chips and have QQ102 in BB. Flop comes Q104ss and I check to face a min bet from UTG limper, I make PSB with nutz and he calls, turn is J,  I check and he strangely min bets and I shove again PSB and he calls, river is baby spade, I check and he shoves. He later told me he hit river flush but said he hit st8 on turn, maybe he did. So I lose big pot but plenty of chips. Then next hand I have AAJ4 and raise PSB to one caller, flop is Q,2,8dd giving me overpair and 2nd nut lo. I make PSB to get called and its a 7d make my 2nd nut lo. Rest goes in on turn and he turns up A3dd. This one completes the tilt for me. PS OHL 109 - I'm in BB with A369dd and flop comes A,Q,4 dd and both blinds check to big stack limper who makes PSB, and I shove over that, this donk big stack calls with KJ105 no diamond just laughable putting all the chips out drawing to 10% to scoop and 26% to win hi, just so bad. Turn Q and rivers st8. So with the bad beats and outdraws I am really pissed now. I donk of some chips in the FTP PLO 26K and then start talking shit to some guy which I tell myself to never do. I actually talked shit in the PS OHL Rebuy as well to one guy and then apologized to him. But this guy I just start ranting on. Then I'm doing fine in the FTP 75 HA but just shove with KQdd to a reraise and lose to AK. Then I open up some PLO Ring games on Cake and just start talking shit to people as I play. Just beating them and berating them. Then the karma kicks in. I've beat this guy like all 6 hands we've gone to showdown with and I'm doing these stupid odd number raises preflop and on flop just to piss people off. Anyway, I raise KQ89 double suit and flop J,10,3 I make my stupid bet and get raised by the guy I've been owning and I call to turn the nutz. Then I make PSB and he shoves on me with 103 drawing to 4 outs. Of course the 10 comes and the table goes crazy talking shit to me because I've been such an ass. Then I finally get in in behind vs his AA when I hold KQJ6 on board of K,5,8,10 and can't hit my draw. And they go ballisitic. Another cake table I double through this guy and start talking shit to him and the whole table. Here comes karma again. I have 3447 double suit and limp on button to flop of K,5,6hh and I raise a better. Turn gin with 2 and I make PSB putting and he tanks and I say please call you fish well he does with K5 and rivers a 5 much to the delight of the table. Then I tilt when I guy I've been talking shit with makes PSB on K,3,5ss board when I hold KKJ6 for nutz. I raise PSB and he calls to see a turn of 6. I make PSB and he shoves and I call to see 244x and he loves it when I can't pair on river. The guys flop call was terrible drawing to sucker st8 and with flush possible out there but I know he only called because of my smack talking. So karma got me. I have to cool off. NO TALKING SHIT AT TABLES, BE RESPECTFUL, DON'T TILT. Maybe I need to take some time off like my girlfriend suggested. We'll see.
