I came in 2nd in Cakes 3k 11 PLO Rebuy, 2nd in FTP 5 Rebuy, and 4th in UB 15 NL Rebuy. In the FTP tourn I had the guy outchipped and lost big when my two pair on flop got it all in vs he naked J hi flush draw. He turned flush. The Cake PLO Rebuy I have played twice and come in 1st and 2nd respectively. Cake is so soft I love it, but obviously I ran well too flopping sets and what not.
UB 15 NL Rebuy - First time playing this tourn. Key hands. I limp with 98hh in EP, two more limpers (150/300 level) and button raises half his stack to 1300, a blind calls 1k more. Now there is 3650 in the pot and it's back to me. This is I feel a perfect spot to squeeze and gamble for all this dead money. I have button covered easily and will still have a playable stack if I lose so I reraise pot. Folds to button who insta calls, the blind tanks and finally calls with 76dd OMG!! button has KK and by the river I make two pair and take both these guys out for a nice juicy pot. At the FT though I got my karma back. 6 Handed a guy open shoves UTG+1, the button calls (very short stacked) and I snap with KK in BB. AJ,QQ,KK and it comes xxxJJ for running trips. Dang! Huge pot which would have put me in 1st and busted two players. One guy busted though (QQ). Anyway, I chip up a little bit shoving and then 4 handed UTG raises and I look at AJcc in BB and shove....there is FE but he eventually calls with 109cc...I like...until the 10 on flop, a 4th place bust for me but between the three finishes 1.3k so I'll take it. I'm in NY visiting family so I don't know I guess I'm on poker vacation, maybe I can get some tournaments in on the weekend. Merry Christmas all!

Well, I played real well today but just ran like death and of my 21 bustouts for no cash I had best had 16 or so of the time, coolered a couple times and worst hand a couple times. I've been playing real good PLO lately so I decided to play the FTP 216$ tourn. I got up to 9k in chips and then this: UTG limps, I make PSB with AKJ10ss and folds all around to UTG who calls. Flop is A,Q,7 rainbow, I bet 2/3 pot after a check and he raises me. This is gross for me because I know he has AQ. So, I decide to shove. I don't know why. I mean I have 9 outs on flop and backdoor flush draw. Anyway, he calls with AQJ5, giving me 8 outs, turn is 8, adding 4 outs. 12 outs but I miss. I guess I was hoping he had A7 or AK7 I'm not sure, maybe a bad play by me, unlucky flop for sure. Ace and two babys easy to just call or fold and not shove. The good news is I took 2nd in UB's weekly OHL for 3k. I'm a little disappointed I didn't get first. Once this guy got the chip lead 5 handed he was just making PSB constantly and playing really aggressive. So we got HU and he doubled me up pretty quickly just making his PSB and not folding to my reshove with a good hand. I hold A3J6 and make PSB and he reraise, I reraise him and he calls. Flop is 4,6,8 and he makes PSB I shove and he calls with 35xx for a st8 draw and weak lo. I feel I'm freerolling on him now, looking for the board to brick out but he turns st8 for chop and the rivers A for scoop. Types "weeeeeeeeeeee" in the chat. That stuff happened to me all day today. Fortunatley I had already made 2nd at that point. I won't go into the other bad beats today. You've heard them all before.

11 left in FTP PLO Rebuy - An aggresive guy makes PSB UTG 5 handed and I make PSB with AA67hh. He calls, flop is K,10,5 and he shoves and I call, he tables KJ78 and rivers me for 111K pot and 2nd place in chips. Now, he should fold that preflop, he is calling a PSB OOP with a weak hand and doesn't even have a PSB on the flop. So he played it poorly. He was 64% to lose pre, same on flop, 80% on turn. I mean, I'm not complaining because of the suckout I'm just saying the it's a poor strategy on his part. Yesterday in same tourn I had a brutal suckout (two outer AI on flop) for 3rd chip stack. So, playing well in this tourn but losing big hands at the wrong time. 2nd place in UB PLO Rebuy today. I could have played slower against this guy but I make PSB on button with AQJ2ss and repops, I reraise and he calls with AK47. Board bricked out. My hand is strong pre but I didn't really need to race this guy because he would pay me off so many times going to showdown I could have just chipped him down. Next time I will. FTP PLO 33 Rebuy - I'm playing this one and I limp UTG with AQJ6ss and get multiple limpers and button makes PSB. Now button is always doing this, he has raise stats you wouldn't believe, 66% over 80 hand sample. I feel I'm way ahead of his range and I make PSB to iso and he reraise, I call and see KQ54doulbe suit. He wins. He actually was racing vs me. 50/50. I definitely didn't need to race but I thought, he may fold, and I most likely have best hand anyway. I don't know. Maybe was too aggresive and I was done playing. Hard to say. Otherwise, poker disappointment all around. Although I'm playing pretty well, here is A BIG mistake by me. PS NOHL Rebuy - I have juicy stack and AQ92 with A of diamond and flop is K,9,8 all diamonds, guy makes decent bet at it. Now I know I he can't have nuts and if he calls I'm in trouble needing runners for hi or lo. But we both have big stacks and I have him covered easily so I shove figuring he would fold a non nut flush and hopefully trips as well. Well he called with flush. I eventually get to money bubble which I love. My big mistake was trying to bluff a guy who can't fold. I had seem him get way out of line earlier with a hand he had no business calling AIPF with 2 people in. Knowing that I should realize he won't fold a flush there, just won't. You can't bluff calling stations. So my mistake. Anyway, no poker tomorrow. Gl all who play

Well, I played about as good as I ever have in a while today. Mixed results but I'm really happy with almost all of my decisions.
FTP PLO 11 Rebuy - 3rd Place, key hand I make PSB with AAJ7 and SB tanks and calls and BB calls rest of his chips (5 handed) flop is 7,5,2hh and SB makes 3/4 PSB. I could just flat to see if a draw hits, I could fold, but I get crazy and shove and he tables 7564, meaning I nead A,J,2 or runners to take it. I don't and bust 3rd. My one iffy play with AA, otherwise I folded AA an ungodly amount of times and it paid off.
UB PLO 11 Rebuy - I bust for no cash, I raise LP with KJ108ss and get two callers, flop is K,10,8hh and I bet half pot and get one caller. Turn is a lowly 3 and he checks and I make PSB. So now there is 11k in the pot and he calls, river is 7x. And he sticks his last 5k in. So 21k pot and I have to call my last 5k off. Is he desperation bluffing his busted flush draw? I tank and eventually call to see QJ109. I think it was a poor turn call by him, especially since he didn't have hearts and he loses 5 of his outs that way. I seriously thought of folding but I thought he could have busted flush draw and the pot was too big. I was sitting on 13bb if I fold there or 60+bb if I win. Cake PLO 11 Rebuy - First time playing this and I ran the sickest I have every run in any tournament. I got a huge stack and just started to raise from there. With 12 left I had 240k and 2nd was 30k it was a joke. First was $720 so same score as my FTP 3rd Place. FTP OHL Rebuy - Made FT and busted 8th I guess when I make PSB pre with AAJ4cc and get repopped by AQJ8. I love it!! Sickly though I get scooped. PS NOHL Rebuy - Made FT and busted 9th, MP raise and I look at AK26dd 8th in chips and shove. He tables AA46 and fades flush/st8/and my lo draw to scoop. UB NL 33 Rebuy - A min cash but played very well I thought. Was 4th in chips on bubble and I raise AJhh in LP and one blind calls. Flop is A,10,2 rainbow and he min bets, I raise hard, and he sticks the rest in. I call to see AQ. Oh well, I can't put him on just flatting a LP raise with AK (he was an aggresive preflop raiser, 22%). So AQ,A10 are only hands that I could see beating me, others I was ahead of everything else.
I played great on a short stack in Cake NL 10K and had my AQ get busted by KJ AIPF for 10k chips. Cake 33 Rebuy - LP raises and I'm in SB with AA, I reraise to give me one PSB on flop and he calls, flop 10,9,6 and I shove my PSB, he calls with QJ and rivers the st8. Nothing to do there, I played it perfect I think with my bet sizing. Anyway, thats all to report. No poker tomorrow.
