I'm not sure if/why anyone would want to read a poker blog by me. I know I have a few fans over at Bodog, but I really don't see any of them bothering to read this. But, on the slim chance that someone might be interested, I'll blog away.
I'm gonna keep this first entry sort most likely, as my session has allready started and it is Sunday.
First, a tiny bit about myself. I am 26 years old and married (going on 5 years). I am a full time student at Bemidji State University where I had maintained a 4.0 up until last semester (got a B in Logic of all things). I am working towards a double major in Business and Philosophy and a minor in Political Science. I have been playing poker for ~3 years, and started playing professionally on Jan 1st of this year. It hasn't been everything I had hoped it would be. I have netted just under $15K this year, a number I expected to be closer to $25k at this point. But, I would be lying if I said that I haven't enjoyed it. I play about 40 hrs a week. A little less when school is in session, a little more when it is not. In January, for instance, I put in 268 hrs. That was a grueling month, but worth the effort. I ended up winning the Monthly TLB at Bodog that month, not a half bad way to start my poker career.
Well, more tables are popping up, so I better jet. Thanks to anyone who is reading this.
