Bodog is steadily approaching its 1,000,000,000th hand dealt.  As a result, they've let the cat out the bag and announced their Billionth Hand Promotion.  This promotion includes thousands of dollars worth of prizes that will be distributed over the course of five landmark hands.  On Sunday, the first landmark of 980,000,000 was reached, and all of the players present at the table received their share of $2,000 as well as $109 in tournament credits.

Here is a list of the players included in the first landmark:

    *  bigarn1958 (Coral Springs, Florida)
    *  fourunder33 (Woodstock, Georgia)
    *  LION7789 (Prineville, Oregon)
    *  5th st hero (Fullerton, California)
    *  spadekillerr (West Haven, Connecticut)
    *  jasperbigdog (Chelsea, Michigan)
    *  slamador  (Babylon, New York)
    *  LOWLIFE21 (Ankeny, Iowa)

Similarly, on Thursday the 985,000,000th hand was dealt, and 10 more players received their share of $3,000, as well as $109 each in Tournament Credits.

This leaves three more landmarks to go, and everyone playing real money on Bodog is eligible.  All you have to do is sign-up.  The remaining landmarks include the 990,000,000th hand, 995,000,000th hand, and the 1,000,000,000th hand.  Anyone involved in these hands will automatically receive $109 in tournament credits, as well as part of a $4,000, $5,000, or $10,000 prize, depending on the landmark.

One billion hands is impressive and a mile-stone to remember, especially considering that Bodog's poker room only really took off a couple years ago.  Free money is being given away, and if you don't get in on it now, you may just have to wait for the next billion.  In addition, since the landmarks are expected to be reached by the end of November, Bodog is also holding Daily Draws until the 26th of this month.  Ten players per day will win $50 each, and at the end of the promotion, one player will win the grand prize:  a $1,000 monthly bankroll for an entire year!
