If you haven't checked out the new rankings data in the profile I suggest you click around and see what some of these great players have been up to. We have heard for a long time how these top players have been crushing online poker and now we can get a glimpse of what that actually means. You can visit any ranked player's profile and there is a link to all of their qualifying scores. The database is fully sortable by date, site, buy-in, and the really interesting parts- place, money won, and P5s TLB points earned. I would have to write an encyclopedia to do the talent present here on Pocketfives justice, so here are a few profiles that jumped out at me:
Tmay420,
ocrowe, and
LUVEMnLEAVUM.
TMay's results are just flat out sick. For the Tri-Monthly TLB that will count for the rankings your top 40 scores are counted. If you sort Tmay420's results by money won you have to scroll down half the page before you reach a score that is not 5 figures. This guy puts in some serious volume and backs it up with big time results. He has no gigantic wins (yet) but his volume and consistency will have him at the top of the TLB for sure.
ocrowe is a name that may not be that familiar to some Pocketfivers as he doesn't post on the boards. He's got nothing to be shy about, but I guess his results speak for themselves. He won the Pokerstars million at the end of August for a mammoth score of over 200k but he is no one-hit wonder. He has several other big wins and many final tables on his impressive resume.
A lot of people may be wondering if the new rankings will feature a host of new players as the hard data brings new stars to the forefront. There will inevitably be new names on the ranked players list, but those that have already been recognized were certainly deserving of their place and I want to commend Adam on the job he has done over the past two years.
One name that certainly has a strong chance to jump into the rankings is LUVEMnLEAVUM. He has impressive results across multiple sites. With 19 five figure scores and 8 TLB scores over 150 he is sure to make many players top 75.
Qualifying scores can be found on any registered Pocketfiver's profile so the "Recent Scores" console will display Joeschmoe44 the same way it will Johnnybax when he cashes in a tourney we are tracking. On a side note- we recently added the Pro-Poll function to almost 200 profiles and I was pleased to see what a high percentage of these top players visit Pocketfives on a daily basis. All of these new features are very exciting and I look forward to seeing the new rankings. The debates should be fun to watch!
