Longtime PocketFiver and online poker pro Devin "TranquilChaos" Porter was just announced as the newest member of Team UltimateBet. It was not long ago when Devin Porter announced on PocketFives that he was taking the plunge and going pro.
He has since reached the final table of two World Poker Tour events, taking home fourth place and $200,000 in last year's UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic and third place in this year's Mirage Poker Showdown for $332,937. Devin also went deep in the largest poker field in history, the World Series of Poker Main Event, where he finished in the top 5% and took home nearly $43,000.
"Devin is a great online poker star and a great guy. He is someone that people will always be able to relate to," said PocketFives Co-Owner Adam Small. "He started at the lowest levels and made it to where he is through determination and great online poker play."
Other Team UltimateBet members include 10-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, Jr., one of the top female poker professionals in the world, Annie Duke, and fellow PocketFives member and online poker pro Jim "KrazyKanuck" Worth.
PocketFives.com, the online poker authority, looks forward to covering TranquilChaos, a.k.a. Devin Porter, throughout his promising poker career.
