This week mr. menlo (pictured) moved into 3rd in the PocketFives.com World Wide Rankings.  Even though he plays significantly less volume than many of the other top players, when he does play he makes it count.  Two weeks ago he finished 1st and 2nd in two PokerStars $109 Rebuys (on back-to-back days) for over $60k.  Apparently this caught the eyes of the Pro Pollers, who currently have menlo ranked #1.  His impressive results, coupled with the respect he garners from all the other players, has helped him retain a consistently high spot in the rankings.

Also moving up into the top 10 is AJKHoosier1 (pictured left).  He is now ranked 9th (previously 11th).  He was able to break through by virtue of a run that included three 5-figure scores.  His largest was worth $40,075 as he dominated a $109 Rebuy on PokerStars.

In the top 50, rdcrsn and allinstevie gained significant ground.  Rdcrsn picked up seven spots in the rankings and moved into 24th.  He cashed for over $17k last week and won the $16,000 Guaranteed Rebuy on FullTilt.  Allinstevie's week was littered with cashes and final tables.  He won two tournaments and final tabled eight others.  The tournaments he won were the $22 Rebuy on Stars and the $14k on FullTilt.  At the end of the week, he had racked up over $40k in scores.

goodvibe, Believer82, LUHMAN (pictured right), and TheHero also made large strides in the top 50. Goodvibe, the top player in Germany, won the FullTilt $25k Guaranteed and placed 2nd in a Stars $109 Rebuy for a total of just over $20k. He also final tabled four other tournaments.  He is now ranked 40th (47th previously).  Believer82 climbed seven positions and into 42nd.  He won the UltimateBet $75,000 Guaranteed for $20,250 and also placed 3rd in a Stars $109 Rebuy for $20,118.

LUHMAN is also seven better than before and is now in 44th.  TheHero, controversial or not, continues to do what he does best:  close the deal late in tournaments.  He won the Super Tuesday $250k Guaranteed on Stars for $60,975.  This facilitated his move up 12 notches on the rankings ladder and into 48th.

In the lower half of the top 100, there are several players that are on the rise, and quickly.  The first two are Tmay420 (pictured left) and itssuited.  Former number 1 Tmay420 picked up 11 spots and is now 55th.  He won the $45k Guaranteed on Stars for $11,090 and also took 3rd in a $109 Rebuy.  Itssuited is still brushing his shoulders off from his whopping $385,937 score in the FTOPS Main Event.  He rose another 11 positions and is now ranked 61st.

Also coming up are brynkenneyps1 (pictured right), Davidp18, and timkrank.  Brynkenney moved up 14 positions and is now sitting in 66th.  He won the FullTilt $20k Guaranteed Rebuy and also made one other final table.  Davidp18 jumped up by 16 and is currently ranked 69th.  He obtained yet another big score, finishing 2nd in the Stars $215 Rebuy for a payday of $37,135.  Timkrank won the FullTilt $20k Guaranteed Turbo and also placed 2nd in the $55k Guaranteed.  These two scores along with two other final tables added up to over $26k.

IWEARGOGGLES (pictured left), amak316, and ruprikkt are the last three elevating substantially in the top 100.  IWEARGOGGLES rocketed upward 26 places and into 75th.  Such a move isn't all that hard to believe when you consider he won the $750,000 Guaranteed on FullTilt for $142,155.  He also placed 3rd in the Stars Nightly Hundred Grand.  Amak316 has improved by 11 since last update, continuing his hot streak.  After winning $41,880 in the FTOPS #13, he came back and won the FullTilt $55k Guaranteed and placed 2nd in a Stars $109 Rebuy for another $38,412.  Ruprikkt advanced ten positions and is now 88th.  He made five final tables, including a win in a Stars $109 Rebuy for $18,540.

New to the rankings once again is Cmoney3, who is now ranked 97th.  He won the Daily Fifty Grand on Stars for $13,998.  He also made four other final tables and $17,190.
