James " P0KERPR033" Campbell is showing everyone in the online poker world why he's a top ranked player, and in return, the rankings are showing him the respect he deserves. Over a period of just a few weeks, he's turned in four different 5-figure scores, including two scores right around $30k each. As one highly ranked player told me today, moving up once you're in the top 25 is extremely difficult. P0KERPR033 has continued to do so, though, moving up this week to number 7 overall.
The next two big movers were M8kingMoves and TheWacoKidd, who each pulled off impressive weeks as well. M8kingMoves had two top 5 finishes in the big rebuys on Stars, while Waco's week was capped by his Triple Crown performance on UB, Bodog, and Stars, where he won the $129 bounty tourney on UB and rebuy tournaments on the other two sites. Both of these guys moved into the top 30 in the rankings this week.
Apestyles, whose journey in the rankings has been up and down over the last few months, made another big step towards the top this week, jumping nine spots to number 31. Ape's week included wins in the $100 rebuy and $20 rebuy on Stars, as well as a final table finish for over $5k in the UB Sunday $500.
Dmmikkel is a player who's been crushing it of late, and this week, he had seven different final tables in tournaments that are tracked for the PocketFives.com Rankings. Most notably, he took down the UltimateBet $129 bounty tournament on back to back days! He was one of the biggest movers this week, rising twelve spots to number 56.
Similarly, Martine23 moved up eleven spots to number 60 this week, although his week featured a different sort of accomplishment. Martine took down the Wednesday $300 event on Stars, which was worth over $44k for first place. It was also worth nearly 450 PLB points, which propelled him to the big jump.
The last big riser out of those already ranked prior to this week was the thirteen spot jump by tork, up to number 73. He's been riding a hot streak of late, and his ranking is a reflection of a number of recent cashes, including final tables in the PartyPoker $500 and the Stars $200.
There were several new arrivers in the rankings this week, as well as a couple who returned to the top 100. YourTimeIsUp has been putting up solid results for a while, but first place wins in the Stars $100 and most notably the Full Tilt $400k Guaranteed have propelled him all the way from being unranked to number 72 overall. He'll undoubtably continue to swing upward over the coming weeks, due to his huge win.
AsianDude7 also entered fairly high on the list, taking the 84th spot in the rankings. No one should be too surprised about this one, as he's been putting up some incredible results lately, mostly on Stars. In the last month, he's had a $30k cash and a $44k cash, and he had two other five-figure cashes in the last week!
Soggyvag2 and brsavage have both spent many weeks in the rankings as well, and this week, they both have once again made it into the top 100. Soggy had, among other things, a win in the Full Tilt $150 last week. Br has continued to put up impressive results over the years, and this year has been no different, as he has maintained his status as one of the top tournament players online.
