There wasn't any movement in the top 8 this week, and not a lot overall near the top, but PearlJammer (left) and P0KERPR033 (right) did each move back into the top 10, taking the 9th and 10th spots. Each has been a staple of consistency in online poker over the last year or so, and their ability to hold onto a top spot in the rankings is a testament to the high level of play they bring to the table every time they sit down.
I had to run down the list some before finding the first name that moved up more than five spots, and when I did, that name was none other than M8kingMoves, AKA lilholdem954, who's already won two tournaments in March.
The-toilet moved up five spots, continuing his march up the rankings after several incredible wins early this year. He's now sitting at number 36, and every week he seems to improve that number.
There really wasn't a whole lot of excitement in the lower half the rankings either this week, probably partly due to the Sunday results coming in later than usual and not all being included in the update. There were four newcomers, however, though 3 of them aren't strangers to the limelight here on PocketFives.com.
Zpaceman, who just recently wrote his first article on P5s, move in at number 94 after a week that included two second place finishes--one on Paradise and one on PokerStars. Dyzalot and steely, both of whom have spent many weeks in the rankings, took spots 98 and 100.
The last newly ranked player is grafyx, who actually had a very impressive week. He ended the previous week by finishing runner-up in the UB Sunday $500, and then he proceeded to have an enormous Saturday on Stars. That Saturday included second and third place finishes in the $100 rebuy events and a win in the $50 rebuy. Congrats to grafyx on a nice run---we'll be looking forward to seeing more.
That's all for this week's (short) rankings update. We'll be bringing you more updates next week on the PocketFives.com Online Tournament Player Rankings.
