The tenth Full Tilt Online Poker Series played its 12th, 13th, and 14th events on Tuesday. Emerging victorious from the pack in Event #14, a $216 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Turbo tournament with a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, was none other than fourth-ranked online tournament player Dan djk123 Kelly. He’s known as imabigkidnow on the virtual felts of Full Tilt Poker and found an extra $104,870 in his bankroll for the win. World Poker Tour Bellagio Cup IV champion Mike SirWatts Watson finished third in the event for $50,100. Ranked player Nick agriffrod Mitchell won Event #11 on Monday, a $1,060 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event. Let’s check out the recent results for PocketFivers in FTOPS X on Full Tilt Poker.
Nick agriffrod Mitchell bested a field of 1,469 entrants en route to a massive $322,500 take in the $1,060 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament. The top 162 spots paid out. Mitchell won the $100 rebuy on PokerStars for $62,000 in August. One month later, he won it again for $30,000. In July, he finished second in the $1K Monday on Full Tilt Poker for a healthy payday of $65,000. During the month of October, Mitchell piled up $57,000 in 31 scores for tournaments that are tracked for the PocketFives.com Online Poker Rankings.
Number 32 ranked player Jagz7 finished ninth in the same event, cashing for $21,000. He won the $200 rebuy for $46,000 in August on Stars and took second in the $100 rebuy three days ago for $51,000. The UK native raked in nearly $50,000 in tournaments that are tracked for the Rankings on PocketFives.com last month.
Dan djk123 Kelly earned $104,870 for winning Event #14, his largest online score to date. Kelly is ranked number four on PocketFives.com and won the $100 rebuy on Stars in September for $34,000. He finished sixth in the $10,300 buy-in HORSE tournament as part of the most recent PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker, banking nearly $60,000. Also in September, he took second in the $1K Monday on Full Tilt Poker for $48,000. He’s a former number one ranked player on PocketFives.
Mike SirWatts Watson finished third in Event #14, cashing for $50,100. His win in the Bellagio Cup IV, a World Poker Tour event, was worth $1.7 million. He also has seven World Series of Poker cashes for a grand total of $48,313. Online, he made the final table and finished second in the 24th event of the 2008 WCOOP, a $530 buy-in No Limit 2-7 Single Draw tournament with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool, for $30,000. He also finished sixth in the Full Tilt Poker $750K Guaranteed in June for $23,000. In July, he was the runner up in the $200 rebuy on PokerStars for $31,000.
Also in Event 14, PocketFiver Dutch havoj Boyd, who plays at Full Tilt Poker under the name Dutchalicious, finished ninth for $6,199. He won his first, and so far only, WSOP bracelet back in 2006 by taking down a $2,500 buy-in No Limit Hold'em Short-Handed tournament. In that event, he defeated 2005 Main Event champion Joe Hachem heads-up.
The Full Tilt Online Poker Series concludes on Sunday with a $535 buy-in Main Event with $2.5 million in guaranteed prize money. Tonight, Event #16 will kick off, which is a $322 rebuy No Limit Hold’em Six-Max tournament with at least $1 million up for grabs. That tournament begins at 9:00pm Eastern Time.
