PocketFives.com members posted huge numbers in the Full Tilt Online Poker Series IX - taking home $4,173,219 from final table appearances alone! A total of 13 members had FTOPS IX cashes exceeding $100,000 (two from the same person) with 74 final table participants and ten outright victories over the 25 Series events.
Dubbeemin of California won the FTOPS Main Event for $432,400 to lead P5'ers, while Germany's triathlon4 received $341,500 for his 2nd place finish in the $2,500 No Limit Holdem event. Knickadam55 won $253k for 3rd in that same event and sebbau took 4th for $194k.
Kevin BeL0WaB0Ve made a historic comeback in August; earning close to $168k for 2nd place in the $300 6-handed rebuy event only two days after he took 4th in Event #12 for $105k. Kevin also won the Singles Competition for the P5's FTOPS Contest that was held for high stakes online poker tournament players. Luke IWEARGOGGLES Staudenmaier placed 3rd in that event for $119,500. Ben bfineman Fineman continued his tear through the high stakes tournament world with an outright victory in the $1,000 NLHE 6-handed event -- coming back from a substantial chip deficit with six players remaining.
James P0KERPR033 Campbell took 2nd in the $300 freeze-out event for $157k; outlasting fellow PocketFiver doubledave22, who was awarded $102k for 3rd. Ryan ryanbluf Karp won the $240 6-handed knockout event for $121k and shaundeeb won 10 matches in a row for in the heads-up event for $115,000. Canada's ryanghall walked away with nearly $160,000 upon winning the $300 cubed *1r+1a* event, while Dorinvandy of New York placed 2nd in the $200 NLHE freeze-out event for $120,800.
