This week, the rankings update is a short but sweet list of movers.  In the top 10, apestyles (pictured) was able to improve one spot coming off of a hot streak that has included four final tables and two wins.  He won the PokerStars $55 cubed twice and continued to show us why he is perceived as Mr. Consistent.  Ape is now ranked 4th overall, and he is adding some significant pressure to the top 3.    

Also moving up in the top 10 is BeL0WaB0Ve  (pictured left).  Last week, he made 9 final tables.  This stat alone is amazing; add on to it the fact that he won three of those final tables, and you just have straight BeL0WnAge.  He won the Stars $109 Rebuy two days in a row and also won the Stars $25k Guaranteed.  His ability to non-chalantly final table tournaments left and right earned him just short of $90k last week, as well as the right to be back in the top 10 at #9.

The top 20 did not have any big fluctuations this week, but some shake-ups in the top 50 have kept things interesting.  JohnnyBax is still on the rise and moved up another 5 spots to 26th.  He made 3 final tables since the last update and was able to win the $15k Guaranteed on Stars for $10,287. 

Stamdogg  (pictured right) has continued his upward trend as well, improving by 7 spots and securing 37th in the rankings.  Last week, he made two more final tables and won over $17k.  It seems to me that Stamdogg's plans involve more than just being #1 in Ohio. 

Moving up 10 spots and now occupying 46th is Randers.  Last week, he won a huge Stars $109 Rebuy in which 1st place was $41,175.  He also final tabled the $215 Rebuy on the same day, but he was knocked out in 9th.

Chipsteela (pictured left) also improved by 10, and he did it in an impressive fashion.  He final tabled 7 tournaments and won three of them all on the same day!  This amazing feat earned him his first Triple Crown, and he didn't even need the whole week to do it.  The three tournaments he won were the UltimateBet $19k Guaranteed, the FullTilt $30k Guaranteed, and a $109 freezeout on Stars.  Congratulations to Chipsteela, now ranked 50th in the world.

In the second half of the rankings, dabadestchic is once again gaining ground, and quickly.  She made three final tables last week, including a $109 Rebuy on Stars that she won for $14,250.  This helped lift her 19 spots into 64th.

Coming in at 89th this week is Hixx.  89th is ten places better than where he was in the last update, and this jump upward can mostly be attributed to a large score he had on Bodog.   Last sunday, he won the $100k Guaranteed there for $25,000 and also took 3rd in a Stars $55 Rebuy. 

Three new players cracked the top 100 this week.  The three are charder, hafizzle, and ocrowe (pictured right).  Charder is our new 91st ranked player, and deservedly so.  He won 2 out of the 3 final tables he made last week and cashed for more than $22k as a result.  Hafizzle is now 99th after taking 2nd in a Stars $109 Rebuy for $14,240.  Last on the list is ocrowe, who slipped back into the rankings at number 100. He has been known to take down big scores, and he almost did it again last week when he got 6th place in the Stars Sunday Warm-Up for $14,821.
