This week's Online Poker Rankings
update features PocketFiver "comandr_cool" Corey Burbick (pictured), who climbs seven spots to #33 thanks to his consistent results in online tournaments. He has two victories so far this month, and took down the $500+30 buy-in UltimateBet $100k Guaranteed late last month for $26,000. His largest online tournament cash came in March when Corey took down the Full Tilt Poker $200k Guaranteed Sunday rebuy event for $70,700. He also has a win in the PokerStars $70k Guaranteed $100+9 rebuy tournament for another $38,400 from May. Top 10 phenoms Ryan gutshtallin Welch and James P0KERPR033 Campbell move up two to #6 and #8 respectively, while two-time Bodog $100k Guaranteed champion Kevin ImaLuckSac MacPhee ascended three spots to #12 following a whirlwind month of July that also included a victory in the Absolute Poker $100k Guaranteed for $25,000. NeverScaredB and daisyxoxo are now ranked #16 and #19 in the world at online tournament play, while bigdogpckt5s enters the Top 20. Michael rock3656 Rocco is up 11 to #25, Cesar makavelyces Fuentes receives a rankings boost to #35, and evechad moves up 17 to #38 after his 2nd place effort in the Stars "Sunday 500" for $63,500. Phillip USCphildo Collins of South Carolina ascends 17 spots to #40 this week.
The-Toilet Faraz Jaka (pictured), fresh off of a $774,780 cash for 2nd place in the Bellagio Cup V and a $400k effort in this year's WSOP $5k 6-max event this month, increased his ranking this week to #42 worldwide. Two nights ago, he won the Stars $10k Guaranteed tournament for $20k. IM_ICM is all the way up to #47 on the strength of his runner-up performance in the Stars $100 Sunday freeze-out tournament a week ago for $31,900. Paul badpab2 Foltyn of the United Kingdom has racked up over $100,000 in key tournament cashes in the last month, and is up nine to #49 accordingly. PocketFiver pokerbrat13 makes the move up to #56 on the heels of his 2nd place finish in the "Sunday 500" last month for $63,700. Simon also has 1st and 2nd place finishes in the Full Tilt $150+13 Sunday rebuy ($200k Guaranteed) for $54,800 and $38,300 and could soon break the Top 50. Grip won the AbsolutePoker $150k Guaranteed for $44,500 a week ago and is now ranked #64, while Anthony holdplz Spinella jumps 19 spots to #71. California's brainwash is new at #74 this week, as Australian stevoL goes from #88 to #77 worldwide after wins in the Full Tilt and Stars $100 Cubed (1 rebuy + 1 add-on) tournaments in July. California's subiime is new at #79, Yeshaya is up 13 to #80, and Moosedebator reports in at #85.
