This week's P5s Rankings update features Alex AJKHoosier1 Kamberis (pictured) regaining his #1 worldwide ranking following a $782,000 for 3rd place in the 2008 PokerStars WCOOP Main Event. Alex was the central part in a 5-way final table chop negotiation that also involved eventual champion Carter ckingusc King. Carter took home $1,265,000 along with the championship bracelet; landing him at the #55 worldwide ranking this week. Many top 10 players moved up one spot this week and Steve gboro780 Gross is up two to #10. Eisenhower1 of Sweden is up seven to #14 after his victory in the Full Tilt Poker Turbo $30k Guaranteed a week ago for $19k. Norway's Stian JohnnyBelow Stabell took 1st place in the PokerRoom Big Deal earlier this month for $40,650.
Craig MrCasino Gray's recent victory in the PokerStars $40k Guaranteed for $16,750 paved the way for his rise to #19 worldwide, and Christain charder Harder moves up 21 to #29 following his 11th place finish in the WCOOP Main Event for $87,400. Titantom32 is up seven to #30 while Greg DuckU Hobson climbs 19 to #39. Jagz7 of the United Kingdom is up ten to #43 and PiKappRaider ascends 31 to #45 after a stellar performance in this year's WCOOP. PocketFiver intervention is up 12 to #50 while mendieta19 re-enters the rankings at #59.
Online poker superstar The Universe won the Stars $200 Sunday rebuy a few days ago for $52,000 and moves up 13 to #64. Jamie TheNew Robbins is new at #72 and THAY3R rises 19 to #77 after final tabling two high stakes events for a combined $35k earlier in the week. Hungary's Belabacsi is up 14 to #81, and Hixx is new at #92. Also new this week to the rankings are Panamatony at #93 and THE_D__RY at #95.
