This week's P5s Rankings updates features Alex AJKHoosier1 Kamberis (pictured), who has taken over the #1 worldwide online tournament ranking upon unifying the top spot for the PLB and Pro Poll. Alex has been one of the most consistent high stakes online tournament winners over the past two years; picking up multiple wins in the PokerStars $100 and $200 rebuy tournaments. His largest cash came last month when he placed 2nd in the Full Tilt Poker $1 Million Guaranteed for $135,000. Alex followed that up with an outright victory in the Absolute Poker Weekly $150k for another $37,500. There was more movement within the top 10 this week, as Canadian Russell rdcrsn Carson moved up two to #5 and Evan PURPLEPILS99 Parkes climbed to the #6 overall ranking. Brian SN8WMAN Hawkins is up two to #8 and Cliff JohnnyBax Josephy is now ranked #9 in the world at online tournament play.
Hunter the_Hunt_D Frey is up four spots this week to #13 and Tomgus456 of Sweden received a nice rankings boost to #18 worldwide. Mark dipthrong Herm, coming off of four Sunday major tournament victories in less than 30 days, is now ranked #19 in the world followed by ender555, who is up 11 to #22. PocketFiver breeth is up 11 to #28 and Anthony holdplz Spinella climbs nine to #39 after his impressive July results in online poker tournaments. Matt mattg1983 Graham, this week's featured guest on the PocketFives.com Podcast, is up 21 to #45 after taking down the PokerStars Sunday Second Chance this past weekend. That was Matt's third score over $50k in recent months, not to mention his 2008 WSOP victory that was worth over $278,000.
Dan Wretchy Martin is up 11 to #50 and Nick agriffrod Mitchell has caught fire again -- he has $127,000 in major tournament cashes over the last week, including a win in the huge Stars $100 Sunday rebuy and a 2nd place finish in the Full Tilt $1k Monday. Shankingyou is up 29 to #70 while fratboy247 climbs 23 to #75 overall. Ben Waters is new this week at #77. Other new arrivals to the rankings this week are daisyxoxo at #91, Dyzalot at #94 and ATM4Life at #98.
