This week's P5's Rankings update has shows no movement in the Top 10, but New Jersey native Steve gboro780 Gross (pictured) has moved up five spots to #14 this week following his victory in the Absolute Poker $150k Guaranteed for $37,500 on Saturday. Steve is in his early 20s and is currently participating in the 2008 WSOP in Las Vegas. Brian SN8WMAN Hawkins, famous for his $278,500 take in the PokerStars Sunday Million earlier this year, is up six to #15 after reaching the final table in the Stars $100 rebuy and winning the Full Tilt Poker $33k Guaranteed in June. Ray Exitonly Coburn moves up six to #22 after winning the $100 rebuy tournament on Stars.
Joe ender555 Ebanks is up five to #33, while rcrane082985 moves up five to #35 in the world at online tournament play. PocketFiver xxjondxx moves up six to #36, and Adam Akat11 Katz continues his steady climb in the rankings this week; up five to #43 after placing 2nd in the PokerStars $1k Super Tuesday for over $46,000. Jpeahs took down the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan for $53k earlier this month, and is up seven to #46. Australia's rkruok climbs 14 spots this week to #60; enjoying a rankings boost from his recent 3rd place showing in the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed.
Denmark's Jonas Klausen moves up 17 to #67 thanks to a 3rd place finish in the PartyPoker $300k Guaranteed earlier this month. He also took down the Stars $15k Guaranteed. P5'er 4ofakindbud moves up 12 to #68 after taking 3rd in a recent PokerStars $1k Super Tuesday tournament, and johne147 of the United Kingdom boasts the largest rankings climb this week; up 19 to #72 after winning the Full Tilt $90k Guaranteed and the PokerStars $300 freezeout tournaments in June for a combined total over $40,000.
Hungary's breeth enters the rankings this week at #74 after winning the Stars Nightly Hundred Grand and placing 2nd in the $200 rebuy in the month of June. Chris Cmoney3 Kline is up ten to #75, and gregior re-enters the rankings this week at #79. Long-time member jeffbeesdat is new to the rankings this week at #89 after he final tabled two Sunday majors on June 25th, and Steve stevoL Leonard of Australia took down the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl for $64,500 to re-enter the rankings at #90. Other players re-entering the rankings this week are Lee Bill Ivey Gaines, stsitron, and Bryan bparis Paris -- coming in at #93, #97, and #98 respectively.
