The very first
PocketFives World Series of Poker party took place in 2005 at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas. About 100 PocketFivers attended the party, which occurred less than six months after the site was launched. In 2006, the party moved to the New York New York Hotel and Casino. Over 300 attended, including some of the fan favorites – wowswift, Blair Rodman, KrazyKanuck, and TranquilChaos, just to name a few. This year, the third annual PocketFives WSOP Party will take place on
Thursday, July 5th, and promises to be bigger and better. It’s a must for any PocketFiver who will be in Las Vegas.
Last year’s party was sponsored by Paradise Poker at a banquet hall at the New York New York Hotel and Casino, right on the strip. Over 300 PocketFivers attended, including the very best online poker players in the world. A veritable who’s who of PocketFivers were in attendance: foshio, westtexasman, Rizen, Podcast Co-Host David Huber, isuck123, Crazy Cypriot, gboro780, and many more. The event gives everyone a unique opportunity to meet some of the faces of the site who you’ve spent the last year talking poker with. For the Off Topic crew, it means the chance to spend some quality time with wowswift. Overall, it’s an extremely unique experience. PocketFives.com Co-Founder Adam Small comments on the party: “The P5s Party is a rare opportunity to meet a large number of your online poker friends and rivals. Each year we've had it, I've gotten the chance to meet several people I've known personally for many months online. They now all feel like old friends when I see them, and I look forward to each time we meet.”

Alright, now for all the details: The party starts at 7:00pm local time at the Iowa Room at the Hooters Casino. There will be food, beer, soda, and it’s all completely free for PocketFivers.
