By Dan | Published Oct 08 2008, 11:59 AM
The latest update in the PocketFives.com Worldwide Rankings came in this morning. When our computer systems finished calculating the latest risers, the top six spots remained unchanged this week. Three-time Triple Crown winner AJKHoosier1 Kamberis (pictured) continues to pace the field. Close on his heels are Chris moorman1 Moorman (second), Dan djk123 Kelly (third), Shaun shaundeeb Deeb (fourth), Jim P0KERPR033 Campbell (fifth), and Kevin BeL0WaB0Ve Saul (sixth). Several new players, including rkruok, entered the top 100 this week.

Alex AJKHoosier1 Kamberis won the $200 rebuy, $250,000 Guaranteed on PokerStars over the weekend for $51,000. He finished sixth in the same tournament at the end of September for $11,250. His third place showing in the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker Main Event has helped balloon his PLB score by over 1,700 points, securing his spot at or near the top of the PocketFives.com Rankings for some time to come.

Second-ranked Chris moorman1 Moorman is a record-setting five-time Triple Crown winner on PocketFives.com. At the end of September, he won he $100 rebuy, $70,000 Guaranteed on PokerStars for over $17,000. Third-ranked Dan djk123 Kelly finished second in the $1K Monday on Full Tilt Poker for $48,640 on September 29th. Shaun shaundeeb Deeb won the 25th event of the WCOOP for $144,000, ratcheting his PLB score up by 876 points in the process. Deeb stands pat at fourth this week.

Jim P0KERPR033 Campbell, a member of Ultimate Bet’s Star Players Team, is ranked eighth in the PLB, but fourth in the Pro Poll. Campbell sits at fifth in the Rankings. Then there’s Kevin BeL0WaB0Ve Saul, who has already amassed over $11,000 in tournaments that are tracked for the PocketFives.com Rankings in October. He pocketed over $270,000 from a pair of final table appearances during the recently completed Full Tilt Online Poker Series. Saul remains at sixth this week.

Breeth moved up from #15 to #12 this week on the strength of a win in the $530 buy-in Sunday 500 on PokerStars on Sunday. He took second in the $100 rebuy on that online poker site in July for $43,000. Mark dipthrong Herm was up six spots from #19 to #13 after winning the Wednesday Quarter Million on PokerStars one week ago for $46,875. Also making waves in the top 20 of the Rankings this week is charder, who took 11th in the WCOOP Main Event, banking $87,400. This week, he leaps from #23 to #17.

One of the largest jumps in the Rankings on Wednesday belonged to TheRealPokerccini, who skyrockets 22 spots to settle at #25. He took second in the $100 rebuy on Stars at the end of September for $14,130 and finished 12th in the WCOOP High Rollers event for $41,730. He was out of the top 100 until last week, when his fourth place PLB score vaulted him into the Rankings. He’s ranked 23rd in the Pro Poll and racked up 85 cashes in tournaments that are tracked for the Rankings in September for $190,000.

Carter ckingusc King, who was part of a five-way chop in the WCOOP Main Event, rose from #32 to #26 this week. King also won the September PLB Race on PocketFives.com. Hot on his trail is Ryan ryanbluf Karp, who won the FTOPS IX $240 Knockout Event for $121,000. Other action in the top 50 saw Corey comandr_cool Burbick leap from #52 to #45 on the strength of a win in the $150 buy-in $50,000 Guarantee on Full Tilt Poker on September 29th.

New to the Rankings this week is rkruok, who enters at #86. He finished second in the $200 rebuy on PokerStars on October 5th for $37,500. Other accolades in his poker career include wins in the PokerStars Nightly Hundred Grand as well as a 17th place finish in the $10,300 buy-in High Rollers event during the WCOOP for $28,890. Don't think Moorman is hot on AJK's heels anymore due to AJK's run, but still sick...congrats to all ranked.
