PocketFives.com members took down 5 of 12 major weekend tournaments as #28 ranked online tournament player Hunter
the_Hunt_D Frey (pictured) won the
Full Tilt Poker $250k Guaranteed Sunday Brawl for $75k. Ben
bfineman Fineman took 5th in that same tournament for $21,500.
Aaron_Hacker won the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan for $53,500 while Alex
AJKHoosier1 Kamberis took down the
Absolute Poker $150k on Saturday for $37,500.
Poker_lord76 outlasted seven other P5'ers at the final table of the
PokerStars $200 Sunday rebuy to take home the first place prize of $56,500 and
skeptix earned $23,600 for his victory in the
Bodog $100k Guaranteed.
There were two 2nd place finishers who took home more prize money than P5'ers who won weekend majors.
Govshark2 placed 2nd in the Full Tilt $750k Guaranteed for $86,700 and
Ozone received $76,300 for 2nd place in the Stars monthly $250k. However, the largest weekend cash by a PocketFives.com member came via a 3rd place showing in the Stars Sunday Million.
Pokerbrat13 won $92,900 for 3rd in the Sunday Million while
tonijeromi walked away with $58,600 for 5th.
Mnkyman won $9k for 9th in the Sunday Warm-Up and
joejackson06 collected $6,500 for 8th in the Sunday Second Chance.
The
UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed boasted an overlay of over $10,000 on Sunday.
Sharp.info was awarded $26,500 for 2nd place,
Stiches took 3rd for $18k, and
grtwhitehoop received $8,500 for 6th. The
PartyPoker $300k Guaranteed had a nice $20,000 overlay on Sunday.
Geirto was the lone PocketFiver at that final table, and was awarded $5,250 for 8th place.
Intervention (pictured) had two final table appearances in weekend majors; as did Brian
SN8WMAN Hawkins.
Intervention took home $25k for 3rd in the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan and $16,650 for 3rd in the AP $150k -- as
foolishgolf made $3,900 for 8th. Brian Hawkins got $20,560 for his 4th place in the Stars $200 rebuy and another $13k for his 8th place in the Stars monthly $250k. PocketFiver
3_9_offsuit earned nearly $34k for 2nd in the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan.
CrazyMarco came in 5th for almost $15k.
Other big winners this Sunday included
Babooyah and
blizair, who took 3rd and 4th place in the Full Tilt $750k for $57k and $45k respectively.
DEEZZZ_NUTS received close to $25k for 6th place in that tournament. Keven
Stamdogg Stammen (pictured) won $58,700 for 3rd in the Stars $250k; edging out Joe
Dyzalot Morneau who took home $44k for 4th.
MPetes was awarded $31k for 5th,
Avi011 made $19k for 7th and Jamie
TheNew Robbins rounded out the final table in 9th for $8,200. Online poker legend Cliff
JohnnyBax Josephy just missed a Sunday major win; placing 2nd in the Stars $200 Sunday rebuy for $38,800. Nick
agriffrod Mitchell had a nice $15,400 score for 5th, followed by
s00terj0kers who placed 6th for $12k. Scott
steely Wyler took home $9,200 for 7th, David
Nutstr84444 Redlin earned $6,700 for 8th and
toetagu placed 9th for $4,100.
Fitzfitz took runner-up honors in the Bodog $100k for $13,600.
Theman94 won $9,100 for 3rd, and
dahladino received $2,200 for 8th in the Bodog $100k.
