PocketFives.com members won 10 major tournaments for the first part of this week, led by Jeremy daisyxoxo Fitzpatrick (pictured) of South Carolina, who took down this week's Full Tilt Poker $1k Monday for $79.5k. Jeremy is a Triple Crown winner and also currently ranked #52 in online tournament play. Taking runner-up in that tournament was Renato leguito Almeida of Portugal, who earned his largest online score of $50.8k. David D Ro Rowan took home $29.4k for 4th, followed by pokerjamers in 5th for $22.2k. PokerKaiser earned $10.3k for 7th and Dan WiLDmAn75 Buzgon placed 9th for $6.3k.
The second largest tournament this week was the PokerStars Super Tuesday, which paid out $288,000 in prize money. This week, five Pocketfives.com members reached the final table, led by Hayden hfortye Fortini
of Very Beach, FL, who earned his largest online score of $59,040 for
an outright win in this event. Finishing runner-up to Fortini was #2
ranked player shaundeeb, who earned $43.2k for his finish. Triple Crown winner phatcat finished 3rd for $32.5k, followed by typarks in 5th for $16.9k and CHI01 was eliminated in 8th, taking home $7.2k for his efforts.
Monday's PokerStars $100 rebuy tournament saw just three P5s members at its final table this week. Ben bfineman
Fineman (left) of Las Vegas was the top finisher, taking 4th for just
over $7k. Just one day earlier, Fineman won the PokerStars Second
Chance for $47.7 and also won the $100+r for $33.8k a few weeks prior. GeoffRas took 5th in this tournament for $4.8k and ImaLuckSac finished 8th for $2.4k. Monday's Nightly Hundred Grand tournament on Pokerstars had just one P5er at its final table. Vadka of New York won this event outright for $26.3k, just a few weeks after his runner-up finish in the Super Tuesday for $52.5k.
Tuesday's PokerStars $100 rebuy tournament had 216 entrants this week. Six P5s members made this weeks final table, led by Ben
Bttech86 Tollerene
of Texas who won this event for $19.3k. Ben also finished 3rd in this
tournament just two months prior for $17.2k. Andrew
fergwrx Ferguson,
who had two wins last month in the Stars 500 and Full Tilt $75k Gtd for
over $100k in combined profits, finished 3rd in this tournament for
$10.5k.
Assassin8tor earned $7.8k for taking 4th,
Andy McLEOD took 7th for $3.6k and
KingDan and
stpauli111 finished 8th and 9th for $2.7k and $1.8k respectively.
The Quarter Million on PokerStars had 820 entrants this week and four P5s members made it to the final nine, led
grtwhitehoop
(right) of Atlanta, GA who won this event outright for $46,875, just
one month after he had a runner-up finish in the same tournament for
$35.3k. Liina
Liina Love Vark of San Francisco placed 5th this week for $13.1k, followed by
sagat in 6th for $10.6k and
nutserrytime finished 7th and took home $8.1k for his efforts.
Four P5ers were seen deep in Tuesday's Nightly $100k Guarantee tournament. Corey
Muchaka Cheresnick, who has both WPT and WSOP final table apperances, won this event for $24.3k.
Jpapola of New York finished runner-up for $17.4k,
SixthSenSe19 placed third for $12.9k and
jdawg217 earned $6.8k for taking 5th in this event.
Wednesday's
$100 rebuy tournament on PokerStars paid $117,200 in prize money this
week. This weeks final table saw nine P5s members, led by Dylan
ImaLucSac Linde of Idaho who won this event and earned just over $23k for doing so. Twenty first ranked player Jeff
YoungSupremacy Hakim had his first of two final tables Wednesday in this tournament, finishing runner-up for $16.8k, followed by
vadka in 3rd for $12.7k.
Benvo123, who took down the Super Tuesday in March for $75.8k, finished 5th in this event for $6.6k,
a_zuzolo earned just over $5k for 6th,
bdubs3737 took 7th for $3.9k and
Bluntzz549 and
BadgetPro had 8th and 9th place finishes for $2.8k and $1.9k.
The
$100k Guaranteed on Full Tilt Poker had 376 entrants this week. This is
a $100 rebuy 6-max tournament, usually attracting some of the top
tournament professionals and known to be one of the toughest weekly
tournaments. This week, four seats at the final table were filled by
P5s members, led by 82nd ranked player Jeff
jeffbeesdat Gray (right) of San Antonio, Texas. Jeff finished on top of this field and earned $35.3k for his victory.
Babyshark33 placed 4th for just over $12k,
7DeLuX earned $8.4k for 5th and
a_zuzolo, who had two final tables Wednesday, placed 6th for $5.6k, giving him over $10k in earnings for the day.
UltimateBet is the host for two large tournaments on Wednesday. The Sniper 80k Guarantee tournament
had 470 entrants this week. Loni 643dplay Gosdis
earned his largest online score when he took down this event for
$21.1k. His previous big score occurred just a few days prior when he
took down the Sniper $40k on the same site for $10.8k. Mman_status of New Jersey finished runner-up for $12.6k and MikeCaroJr of Chicago walked away with $2.5k for placing 8th.
Six P5ers reached the final table of the $150k Guaranteed
tournament, which is a $1,000+50 buy-in event. This week 140 players
entered this tournament and 43rd ranked player Aditya
intervention Agarwal (left) and
JBurleson found their way to heads-up and decided to call it a night and chop the $63.7k prize money between the two.
YoungSupremacy finished 3rd in this event for $17.6k, putting his earnings for the day over $34k. William
TheGoingRate Malloy of Pittsburgh placed 5th for $10.8k,
JohnnyGstaks finished 6th for $9k and
mman_status took home just over $7k for taking 7th in his second final table of the night.
