Pocketfives.com members won 8 major tournaments for the first part of this week, led by Matt shep2k Shepsky who took down the Full Tilt Poker $1k Monday for $85,250. Keven Stamdogg Stammen
(pictured), who is currently ranked #62 in online tournament play,
finished 4th in that tournament for $31,542. Also at that final table
was #88 ranked player gregior of the United Kingdom, who finished 5th for $23,870.
Monday's PokerStars $100 rebuy tournament saw seven P5s members at its final table this week. Bryan Bry23 Barrile,
who recently had a 2nd place finish in the Quarter Million for $42k,
took down this event Monday for just over $21,000. David Davidp18 Peters of Toledo, OH began his impressive week by finishing runner-up to Barrile for $15,205. AAqueens22 of Florida, who took down the Sunday Second Chance in late January for $55.4k, had a 4th place finish Monday for $8.5k. M8kingmoves earned $5.8k for 5th, scarface_79 finished 7th for $3.9k and hattrick8810 and P0KERPR033 each had 8th and 9th place finishes respetively.
Just three Pocketfives.com members were at Monday's Nightly Hundred Grand final table on Pokerstars, led by Claw1980 of Elk Grove, California who had a third place finish in a field of 855 for $12,825. Triple Crown winner Moosedebator, another California native hailing from San Francisco, took 8th in that event for $2.8k and PrinceTendee earned $1.8k for 9th.
Tuesdays top P5s winner was kutuz_off of New York, NY, who took down the Super Tuesday for $68,250. Davidp18 (left) found himself at another major final table and earned another 2nd place finish, this time for $51,625. GhettoFabolous took home just over $20k for 5th and pabloeltahur of Argentina finished in 8th place for $8,750.
Tuesday's PokerStars $100 rebuy tournament had 252 entrants this week.
All but one final table player were P5s members, led by Phidias
ael1979 Georgiou of Limassol, Cyprus, who won this event outright for $21,197. Bjorn-Erik
hikkespett Glenne of Norway finished runner-up for $15,510,
IceVenom
of Los Angeles took home $11.6k for 3rd, just over two months after he
earned a $56.4k score for finishing runner-up in the Super Tuesday.
Canadian player
Archem earned $8.7k for 4th, followed by
raulsoli in 5th for $6.1k.
Pokerjamers, who is currently ranked #42 in online tournament play, took 6th for $4.6k,
JoeBlazenyc, who finished 4th in this event the previous week, took 8th for $3.6k and
benvo123 earned $2.5k for 9th.
Six P5ers were seen deep in Tuesday's Nightly $100k Guarantee tournament, which was won outright by Peter
PJSNEAKS Jacobson,
a 25-year-old from Reston, Virginia who earned $22,781 for his win.
Jacobson's largest online cash came last September when he took down
the Sunday Brawl for over $71,000.
Donkcommited took 3rd place in this event for $12.1k,
Bruno GT finished 4th for $9.1k,
bzimzim in 5th for $6.3k,
chadleydaboy took home $5.1k for 6th and
LucaLuca of New York finished in 8th place for $2,733.
The
Quarter Million on PokerStars had 824 entrants this week and also had
the most P5ers at the final table than any other week this year.
NutsErryTime of Orlando, Florida finished on top of the field and took home $46,875 for his victory in this event.
Waters,
who had a 3rd place in the Super Tuesday earlier this year for $34k,
finished runner-up in this event for an additional $33.7k, followed by
Triple Crown winner
apestyles (right) of Austin, TX who finished 3rd for $25k.
GhettoFabolous continued his run this week and earned $18,750 for placing 4th,
bigegypt was close behind in 5th for $13.1k,
Joao M took 6th for $10.6k,
All In At 420 placed 8th for $5.6k and Norway's
tork earned $3.5k for 9th place.
Wednesday's
$100 rebuy tournament on PokerStars paid $112,500 in prize money this
week. The final table saw seven Pocketfives.com members fighting for
the $23k top prize, which was eventually won by Chadley
chadleydaboy Norton of California. Finishing runner-up for $16.8k was
Moosedebator, a familiar name we've seen a lot this week. Ray
exitonly Coburn placed third for $12.7k, followed by
unluckybs in 4th for $9.5k.
HB_HITMAN, another Triple Crown winner, placed 5th for $6.6k, and
poker_lord76 and
pokerjoe9 each had 8th and 9th place finishes for $2.8k and $1.9k.
The
$100k Guarantee on Full Tilt Poker had 354 entrants this week. This is
a $100 rebuy 6-max tournament, usually attracting some of the top
tournament professionals and known to be one of the toughest weekly
tournaments. This week, three P5s members reached the final table, led
by Steven
SteveyBallGame Merrifield, who had an outright
victory for $34,771. Just over two months ago, Merrifield won the Full
Tilt Poker $750k Guarantee tournament for $140,430 and one month later,
finished 5th in the PokerStars SCOOP Main Event for $281,000.
Moosedebator saw his third major final table of the week in this event, taking third for $16.2k and
SJUHawks18 of Philadelphia took home $5.5k for 6th.
UltimateBet is the host for two large tournaments on Wednesday. The Sniper 80k Guarantee tournament
had 427 entrants this week. Three P5s members made this weeks final table, led by 24th ranked player rivermanl of the United Kingdom, who finished runner-up for $12,000. Derek ForRealDD Daniels of Dallas, TX earned $4.8k for 5th and o11pokerdr placed 6th for $4k.
Four P5ers reached the final table of the $150k Guaranteed
tournament, which is a $1,000+50 buy-in event. This week 124 players
entered this tournament and 36th ranked player Kevin ImaLuckSac MacPhee (right) was our top finisher, taking 2nd for $24,000. William hickey987 Hickey took 3rd for $17.6k, ags104 took home $14.2k for 4th and xxCelticFCxx was eliminated in 9th place, earning $3,750.
