I've learned to mourn the loss of a man I've never met, to share the joy of another whose life had just begun.
I've learned the value of community when one of us is in need.
I've seen the community rally behind a micro-grinder and send him to Vegas. I've seen people come together to bring OT to a member lying in a hospital bed.
I've learned to respect the opinions of those whom I could never agree with.
I've learned that you may never have heard someone's voice or seen their face, but you can still call them a friend.
