features an interview with Jamie pokerjamers Armstrong, who recently chopped the PokerStars SCOOP $3k NLHE Event #8 for $380,000.
Jamie Armstrong has worked his way up from low stakes to become one of the top ranked online tournament players in the world. Surprising to most, Jamie's turn-around moment likely came when he signed up with a backer. According to "pokerjamers," the thought of spending $1,000 of his own money to buy-in to a poker tournament is still intimidating.
Coming off of his huge score earlier this month has given Jamie a chance to venture out on his own once again after parting ways with backer Mark "dipthrong" Herm. One of his first tests will be this year's World Series of Poker, which kicks off late next month and will last into July.
