PocketFives.com has now been publishing its weekly podcast for 11 months, and over that time, there have been quite a few interesting shows. If you haven't had the chance to listen yet, the show is typically 25-30 minutes long and is hosted by David Huber and myself, and most weeks it features two notable figures in the online poker community.
The first podcast featured two of the all-time greats of online tournament poker: Eric "sheets" Haber and Shawn "westtexasman" Rice. Sheets talked about a number of poker-related topics, as well as rehashing some memories from his backgammon days. The story of his first ever poker tournament is also revealed in the show. Shawn's segment featured discussion about his role as a Player Ambassador for UltimateBet.com, as well as some talk about his upbringing in the poker world and the life he's led.

On June 8th, 2006, Ken "isuck123" Goldin, famous for his appearances on the "Shop at Home" network and in the Bad Beat Forum on PocketFives.com, came on and talked about the challenges he's faced at the poker tables, and shortly afterwards, we had Dan "B_O_K_E" Bokesch, who's been one of the most successful online MTT players over the last couple years, come on and get into some of the nitty gritty details of his strategy in poker tournaments.

The one and only Lee Jones joined us on September 14th for a long and interesting talk that took up most of the show. Lee answered a wide variety of questions about the goings on at PokerStars.com, his role in their organization, and their plans for the future.

Finally, one of my favorite shows we ever did featured young poker stars and P5s regulars Jared "TheWacoKidd" Hamby and Jon "apestyles" Van Fleet. These guys both spent their time telling us about how they've achieved their success at the poker tables and the lifestyle they've been living while doing so. Stories about high stakes roshambo, Vegas living, and playing heads up for more than $100k are only some of what you can hear on this show.

It's been a great first year (almost) of the P5s Podcast, and we're excited to continue improving this product and bringing a great show to the PocketFives.com community. As always, feel free to contact us with your suggestions, questions, or whatever else at podcast@pocketfives.com.
