Came close to winning the 100 on UB yesterday (the afternoon one), got 2nd. All I can say, is that I hate calling with KK, when an Ace hits the board, but ssomtimes, in my opinion its the right play. It was with about 16 left. A pretty loose player limped utg, I raised half my stack which was around 7k, making it 3300 to got with 400-800 blinds. Everyone folds to him (he's got lots of chips) and he flat calls. Flop was A 8 5 I think rainbow. He bets almost enough to put me all in on the flop. I took the full time to think about it, but pocket pair made more sense to me than any ace, he bet quickly, and it was a beautiful bluffing spot, so, with that info, I decided to break a Cardinal Sin with about 75 percent certainty I had the best hand.
We had a pretty good 3 way and heads up on the final table, saw there were a few people watching and glad we put on a good show.
I got 3rd in the little PLO tourney today on UB, those are a lot of fun for me.
Anyhow, I'm going to start doing this thing everyday. I been a bit down because it's hard to get the bankroll moving when you are low and have bills to pay.
I may go gonzo for the TLB on stars next week if the kid loses the heads up for 5k.
