It's been a rough week. As I enter my results into pokercharts I see that I made a few hundred for the week, but that's no way to make a living and the ups and downs have been painful. I did just win a $100 heads up match on Full Tilt in a total of 3 hands so I'm feeling a little better.

I also have a new tool for some of you to check out. It's called Poker Prophecy, available at pokerprophecy.com. They datamine SNG's on Party Poker and give you the results for any player you like. It's not a huge advantage, but if you play alot of SNG's on Party like I do it is certainly worth the money. A lifetime membership is $19.95 right now, but they tell me it will go up soon so if you play alot fo SNG's on the Party network give it a look.

I basically refuse to play ring games these days without bonus dollars coming in. I was thinking about that today. It wasn't a choice I made, I just haven't played a ring game without bonus money coming in while I do it for a month at least. With a huge bonus on Full Tilt, unlimited reload bonuses on BoDog, monthly bonuses on Empire and Party, and various bonuses popping up at sites like PokerStars and Paradise there is just too much bonus money out there to play without it. I even played on PlanetPoker for the first time in years a few days ago because they emailed me a great bonus deal.

I think a very average poker player could actually make a very nice second income just chasing bonus money at this point, and I expect there are quite a few people doing just that these days. While I've actually been playing Big MTT's and higher SNG's these days, the bonus money is still a solid income.

A new magazine called Deal will be out soon, look for it on news stands around June 6th. Why do I care? Because they hired me to write an article and may use me as a regular contributor. There will be a short bio and a picture of me as well, so I'm sure my mom will be very proud.

Check out a reload bonus right now at PokerStars, it's 20% up to $120 and you have to deposit your money for the bonus before you pull any money out or you won't be eligible for the bonus. There will also be a small reload bonus on Empire on Tuesday the 10th that will be of particular interest for those of you trying to build up from a very small bankroll. The bonus is %50 up to $100 so it should be very easy to clear in the time (7 days) provided and only requires $200 to get the max bonus.

Tomorrow I'll be meeting up with 2Cents, Beanie, Acesfull23, Iloveparis, Feldliss, and a few others for a few beers. I'll post a full report on the first ever Professionals Involved in Minnesota Poker Spectacular (PIMPS) which I'm sure will live up to it's name.
