What is the URL for my blog?

Your blog url is http://www.pocketfives.com/ followed by your username. So, for instance, Adam's blog is at http://www.pocketfives.com/adam. This makes it easy for you to share your blog URL with your family, friends and other PocketFivers.

Can you describe the methodology used to compute the four sections above?

"Recent Blog Posts" is self-explanatory. It's simply a short listing of the recent blog posts that have been made within the PocketFives blogging system.

The "Featured Poker Bloggers" section is a select group of bloggers that PocketFives has picked to be featured to the poker community. We make the decision to feature bloggers using a number of factors. These factors include: frequent updates, player visibility/notoriety, quality of entries and overall popularity. Note: You do NOT need to be a PocketFives ranked player in order to be featured. Anyone can become a featured blogger if they consistently write a good and entertaining blog.

The "Top Rated Blog Posts" section is a listing of the highest rated blog posts over the last seven days. Note that it does not matter when the post itself was made -- the statistics are compiled using rating data from ratings that were given over the trailing seven days. So if a post receives high ratings recently, it can easily make it onto that list regardless of post-date. The rating option appears to the right of each blog entry title.

Lastly, the "Most Viewed Poker Blogs" section is determined by a compilation of traffic data. Traffic to both main blog pages and individual blog posts contributes to a blog's traffic rating. For the purposes of this section, traffic data from the trailing thirty days is used. Therefore, traffic from 31 days ago and any prior traffic is disregarded. We use this methodology to keep the popular poker blogs ranking fresh and relevant. One important thing to note is that our system automatically eliminates a "double display" of blogs in the Featured Section and this section. Therefore, it's possible that a Featured poker blog is actually popular enough to be in this section but it has been excluded due to its featured status.

Do you plan on adding more sections to this page?

Yes we do! As you can see, there's a section on the left called "Favorite Blogs". We plan on making a section on this page called "Most Favorited Poker Blogs". We'll also add a sixth section when we release the updated page.
