I would highly suggest not to get coaching from fox in nlhe HU cash, watch vids on bluefirepoker and pxf and you will see the difference in the thought process between the pros of the different sites.

plus, I'm pretty sure fox doesn't play HU nlhe cash a lot.

Wow I have a hater. Either that or someone trying their best to promote bluefirepoker. I actually don't play a lot of HU NL cash games, I just don't think the money in them is as good as other games for me, and would not have tried to offer coaching in this thread anyway. I only know about it because because someone emailed me a link to it. I would recommend you check poker-coach.com, where we have a bunch of coaches listed and you can sort by game and type and learn about the coaches.

Anyone else you would not recommend as a coach specifically FaulBreitner?

I'm also curious where you saw my NL HU video. I just went through my entire video catalog on PXF and there isn't any NLHE HU cash video at all. There's some HU Omaha stuff, and a lot of 6max nlhe, but no heads up no-limit cash at all. That makes your statement seem a little ... odd and out of place. Find better ways to promote your site, there's enough room in the poker training market for anybody who plays and teaches well, no need to start ripping other people to try to make a name for yourself. If you are good at what you do then you will be successful taking the high road, and if you aren't good then the low road won't help you.

hey fox, cool you responded. I'm absolutely no hater, actually I enjoy watching your videos on pxf. Also I'm not trying my best to promote BFP, it's just that I really think their videos are the best out there regarding nlhe 6max and HU cash. If I did come by rude, I apologise, it was not my intention. Its just that, based on your videos and the things you say (" actually don't play a lot of HU NL cash games, I just don't think the money in them is as good as other games for me" and similar things in the vids) I think that you woudln't be the first person to coach someone in nlhe HU cash.

There are a few people that I wouldn't recommend as HU nlhe coaches, for example me, phil hellmuth jr. or ziigmund.

I have not seen a HU nlhe video from you (I think your HU o8 series is your best video series), but I think that I am able to recognize thought processes of different players in different types of games that are relevant for HU nlhe cash (e.g. 6max nlhe), compare them and build an idea of who would be a good HU nlhe coach an who wouldn't (obv based on imperfect information and at the time I get this information).

As for "promoting my site": As I said I am also a PXF subscriber for about 2 years I guess and I'm aware that the focus of neither PXF nor you is on nlhe cash games. I appreciate learning other forms of poker and sharpening my mtt game through PXF.

Once again, it was not my intention to bash you or PXF, I just think that the place to learn HU nlhe cash is BFP.

I hate when I rip somebody because I think they are a jackass and then I realize I was wrong. I noticed a number of your posts promoting bluefire and figured you were one of those tools who just come on a public forum and start ripping other sites and claiming they just joined a way better site. You probably know the posts I mean -

"Topic - kickasspokertraining.com

Has anyone else tried this site? It's the most amazing thing I've ever seen, with awesome instructors and way better videos than site A or site B. I joined and started making tons of money right away? Just curious if anyone else had the same results?"

Apparently that's not you. My bad. I had a huge hater on PXF the same day and overreacted when I saw this post as well. If you're in Vegas this week shoot me a PM and we'll meet up. First round is on me.

hey, no big deal, I made an unfortunate word choice in my op.

I know what you mean lol.

Unfortunately I'm not in Vegas, it'd be cool to meet up, thanks for the invitation and gl in the main event if you play.

For the record I only mentioned Fox cuz I worked with him for a few hours in Full Ring NLHE. He is/was a great teacher an I'd recommend him to anyone wanting to improve. I just wanted to know if anyone specialized (sp?) in HE play at the lower limits.

I have heard good things about Steven Lawrence

http://poker-coach.com/poker-coaching/steven-lawrence

And I know he is comfortable teaching shorthanded and is primarily a no-limit cash player. I don't know if he is a big HU player, but it might be worth be emailing him and asking.
